And guess what? I bet Obama’s Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandfather was one too.

Oh, hell no. He doesn't even have to go back that far. Maybe 1880 or so. The reason the Brits had to colonize Kenya was to end the slave trade.

And once the slave trade was suppressed, BO's ancestors went from bring rich slave traders on the coast of Kenya to being two-bit Mau-mau thugs much further inland.

Why do you think his Daddy hated the Brits with such a purple passion?

Why do you think BO was so anxious to get Churchill's bust out of the oval office.

Why do you think the matriarchal lines on his father's side is mostly untraceable? (Hint: One of the perks of slave trading was to cherry-pick women captives to add to your harem).

Don’t think you have to go back as far with Obama.

Unbelievable how people don’t know history. Do people have any idea how many Blacks sold other Blacks? Any idea how many Africans willingly sold their darker skinned brethren?

Call me cynical, but I think this is nothing more than an attempt by the Democrats at Slate to distract from a feckless Obama through the juxtaposition of the always handy evil George W. Bush.
