Iran never had f 15s. They had F 14 Tomcats. They had the Phoenix Missle system. It was too sophisticated for the towlies to operate without our technical support or spare parts. Certainly non of them were in operational condition since the overthrow of the Shaw in 1979, 17 years earlier.

There were a million reasons to not buy the govt. story. But here’s one. The so-called “investigation” walked like a coverup, quacked like a coverup, in fact was indistinguishable from a coverup. Down to who actually did the investigating. If memory serves the usual procedures weren’t followed but a “special” investigative procedure was. A bit like how JFK had to be autopsied in DC despite established procedures called for the autopsy to be in Dallas. Pretty accurate analogy.
If you’ve got something to hide take control of the “investigation” and do it in a time, place and with people that you completely control.
Of course, there are plenty of other reasons to doubt the fuel tank theory - this is just one of many.

Yes, a lot of people swear that is how it went down.
There was a whole lot of conflicting information and IIRC a lot of the families had to wait a long time to get the remains of their loved one(s) and lie after lie was being told about the cause of the "accident". My former co-worker didn't have anything to say about this until days after she came back from the funeral. She said she was convinced the plane was shot out of the air, that the parents of her friend were convinced everyone on board was murdered and that the government was "screwing them around". I remember that phrase because the co-worker said it with such passion and disgust and insisted for days that the flight was shot out of the air. Most of the other coworkers kinda just chalked this up to her being distraught at the loss of her friend, they grew up together, were like sisters, did everything together, in fact IIRC they were roommates at the time. She was never the same after that and she was terrified to fly.
I remember it so clearly because we sat across from each other and she used to tell me all the time that she was afraid to fly and the parents of her friend were just plain afraid period because they knew the government was covering this up and they wanted answers as to why their "baby girl" (she was in her 20's) was murdered and why the government wasn't telling them the truth.
A ny cop I know said that night a fax came to the dept that warned of a stolen boat that the missle was shot from. Another cop told me he talked to an FBI diver and he said a missile took down the plane.
Here’s something else I was told. Flight 800 took the takeoff time because the plane to Israel was having trouble.
Anyone know the particulars about this documentary? Will it be on regular TV, cable, YouTube? I’d like to see it because it was pretty clear at the time there was a massive coverup going on to help Clinton get re-elected. The Benghazi cluster before Obama’s re-election kind of reminded me of it...
