“Outrage” over this non-story will put an end to the investigations of the true abuses of power (IRS, Czars, etc.) and incompetence (Benghazi and virtually anything else dealing with foreign policy) and momentum will be lost.

I felt the same way when the Monica Lewinsky story came out. I knew it would allow everyone to sweep Whitewater, Rose Law Firm, James Riady, Bernie Schwartz, Buddhist Monks and all that under the rug.....

....and I was right.

Obama is so grateful for this “new” scandal that I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t order the leak himself.

I have still not seen anything that says that they are snooping on anything for political purposes.

If the IRS was used to harrass Tea Partiers, Christians, Pro-Israel groups and Republican donors, do you have any doubt whatsoever that the communications of the RNC and the Romney campaign weren't subverted?

With PRISM and the Verizon court order, the administration certainly had access to these communications. Do you really believe they closed their eyes and held their ears, when the IRS was engaged in obvious political subversion?

Because the government will invent things that people have done wrong.
This not only harms innocent people's private lives but it also undermines American's intelligence capabilities.
