->>motive is in making himself known.....

Maybe if he gives up his life, others will know why he did this. Why die in the shadows? He’s very brave. Here we all are dissecting him. They are saying now on TV, he should have come to the FBI hahaha.. Those who wish for his death, I wish for his life. he could have been motivated by all of the other scandals coming out and became brave enough to do this. I think he went to HK to get his story out before the order was given to make the hit. He knows his life is ruin.

FOURTH Amendment:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Tell us what parts of PRISM adhere to that?

Traitor to the “system”. Hero to liberty.

At this point in time, they’re one and the same.

Yes, looks like some have to wait to see what the big talkers think. You want government employees to be faithful to the constitution versus a political view. The leaker’s motive will take care of itself. The real problem who directed this to be done.

I can’t agree...there is more to this then we surely know....I don’t buy he gave up his life for he made himself known with no consideration of the impact on his family members.

He’s “saved” nothing this far and IMO has not yet revealed anything not already made known. He’s just getting the press for it.

So no I won’t make a definite call on this guy yet...too many questions....and not enough revealed to convince me he’s doing much more than getting the press for this.

The press is having a field day believing this story is something new....we all knew the gov. is watching.

The first thing I was told when I obtained my computer is don’t say/write anything you don’t want the world to know. That of course included the Gov.

This guy needs to release concrete evidence....and of the likes that will point the finger firmly on peoples names, dates etc. I tend to think that is not going to happen.

RE: FOURTH Amendment:

What about profiling certain suspected people living in the USA and secretly tracking their phone callshere and to and from overseas, , albeit WITH A WARRANT, ? Is that a violation of the fourth amendment?

I wonder what he’s going to do for a living now. Do you suppose he’ll design websites? Sell real estate?

Or does he have his retirement portfolio secured? That, I suppose is my question.

Your right to think as you do.

I just don’t believe as you do.

The man’s life is on the line. Tells me what I need to know.

I’m not convinced of that either.

I am not concerned about that versus the government making files on me and my family and destroying the 4th Amendment.
I am sure the leaker has made peace of what his future holds. I hope he's not killed and if returns, has a fair trial.

Getting it investigated in congress? Congress’ emails and phone calls are being listened in on, too. They’re owned by the Chicago Machine.

According to the former asst to the Director of the FBI, none of what Snowden gave to the Guardian is illegal. The courts approved the program. He also said the only person who broke any laws was Snowden. I don’t follow that. If what the government is doing is legal, why are they pissed that Snowden told everyone? And, if he what he told the Guardian the US is doing is legal, how did he do anything wrong?

Is the search of their information “reasonable?” If a judge says so on an INDIVIDUAL basis given facts from the potential prosecutor.

Is there a search against a known terrorist phone number from abroad? I’d support that as “reasonable.” I’d even suggest roving wiretaps, in which if Achmed calls Mohammed, then you get to track Mohammed without going back to the judge.

Go get a warrant.

They’re tracking you and me and Tea Partiers everywhere without regard to REASONABLENESS, PROBABLE CAUSE, and the scope of SEIZURE specified in advance.

They’re using a vacuum of absolutely everything.

That’s Big Brother, 1984. Totally out of control and unaccountable, tyrannical, inimical to Freedom, and in clear violation of the Fourth Amendment. On its face.

And the hard truth is that almost no one hires anyone for their knowledge of Eng. Lit.

Not even Eng. Lit. Professors are hired for their knowledge of EngLit. They’re hired on their radical political positions, not their knowledge of EngLit.

So why bother requiring this nonsense of anyone to do something productive? Make sure they have a command of English sufficient and necessary to write effective business communications and let them get on with their lives.

Credibility.

A man who believes he’s right and stands up to take the heat by name is someone who you can believe a lot faster than someone who leaks details through a cut-out in the foreign press.

The way the DC media plays these days is off of tips and leaks from “anonymous sources.” Their stylebooks tell them to not rely on anonymous sources, but they all do.

Greenwald has a huge scoop on his hands because Snowden approached the Washington Post earlier, and they refused to run with the story. So Snowden went off-shore.

Now you know two things:

1. There is a program to spy on innocent American cities and strip them of any privacy whatsoever.

2. That the power club in DC, including the media, think that this is part of business as usual.

Really?

And which of them were going to bring you this news, hmmm?

The GOP leadership has shown itself to be a bunch of little crybabies and morons without a clue. Look at the reaction to Rand Paul’s filibuster on the issue of drones being used on US citizens by McCain and Graham and their ilk. You think going to those guys will get you any accountability?

You think going to the Democrats is going to get you anywhere either? They’d be perfectly happy to sit on any information that might embarrass their Dear Leader Obama.

He’s a whistle blower protecting the constitutional rights of Americans. He is not a spy releasing info to aid and abet jihadists like Manning. As a federal employee he took an oath to protect the constitutional Republic. That is what he did.

Jury nullification is called for. Whistle blowers used to have protection from Federal punishment and harassment and the only ones who can restore is juries. They can spy on jihadists all they want. They have expanded the meaning of terrorist to be every American.

I agree with everything you posted. People should go back and read the FISA warrant. They were not going after foreign jihadis. They were coming after citizens as another step in the coup process. All this traces back to Holder and the Present of the US. I purposely left out the "ID" part.

Sure, go to the perverts in Congress who are one mouse click away from being blackmailed to stick a knife in your back. I’m sure that will work out well.

And I’m sure we can trust John Roberts to vote against Obamacare too.
