If people cant trust not only the executive branch but also dont trust Congress, and dont trust federal judges, to make sure that were abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then were going to have some problems here.
Obama added that the National Security agents behind the surveillance programs cherish our Constitution.

Barry accidentally hit on the truth!
one of the very few things bammy has said about which he’s right.
No mention of the IRS.
He’s not, but his handlers certainly are. Of course, they really have no clue what or who they are up against. We aren’t euroweenies, at least not yet.
Probably the truest thing he's ever said.
He is correct.
We do NOT trust the government.
And we do have problems.
The only piece of contention is the time when those problems started. But, since this is a matter of cause and effect, and since the Obamadork could not pass a fifth grade science class and would be promptly ejected from any real logic class, the matter is moot.
News flash. We ARE having some problems.
We are losing the voice of “loyal opposition”. Not because we have lost our deep attachment to the principles embodied in the founding documents of that entity known as “the United States of America”, but because that set of ideals has been replaced with a smash-mouth, take-no-prisoners, phony “equality” based on equality of outcomes, enforced by demands on time, treasure and fealty which are less than voluntary, and are based more in “getting even” than any provision for opportunities for individual advancement.
JugEars was a leftist malcontent and rebel against “The Establishment. Now this homo wants us to accept his kind of Federal Gov’t Establishment and its all pervasive data gathering which is being cataloged and stored in the new NSA hard drive palace in Utah
Amen. Much better. Thanks.
This government was founded on the principal that government can’t be trusted, and therefore has to be limited. The more unlimited government gets, the more people should mistrust it.
Barry Soetoro puts out a phony birth certificate and then says “trust me”???
He went on to say, “Just hand your guns over to me, and everything will be fine. You can trust me. I’m not like the others.”
You know I have been wondering if all these leaks aren’t intentional from the WH. A simple introduction to the now completely transformed America. The conservative targeting by the IRS was revealed, actually by Lois Lerner. One would have thought that when the tea parties did the protest day that there would have been some tolerance shown, instead protesters were met with armed agents and helicopters. I think this was quite telling. Today, Obama basically told the American people this is how it is going to be and used veiled threats. Something just isn’t sitting right.
I tend to agree.
- If we can no longer trust government, there *are* going to be problems.
Now ask yourself, Is the federal government trustworthy?
Vigilance IS the price of Liberty! Governments should never, ever, be trusted. It’s an historical fact, and is the nature of the beast.
That’s WHY our government was designed the way it was..by the PEOPLE FOR the PEOPLE.
This man was obviously NOT raised in the United States. He clearly doesn’t understand what it is to be an American, nor does he understand his role as president, the role of government in this country, nor the principles behind it all.
He and his Jarret need to go, and the sooner the better.
I think the government needs a total overhaul. What’s going on now just isn’t working.
Says the person who has said that he would not enforce the duely passed immigration laws, election laws nor the DOMA law. He has also plainly stated that he would bypass congress if they were not willing to pass some laws and that he would accomplish his goals without congress.
But we are supposed to trust him....and the drones are lapping away....
Worth a read....
My thought is that because the most damaging one, Benghazi, was becoming a problem the ‘Rats decided to do what works best...overwhelm the system with multiple scandals there by preventing the ability to get to the bottom of any one of them...
Rules for radicals....
The was a laugh-track to go with that audio, right?
He’s asking me to TRUST him? With a straight face? What a good actor.
Yeah, they keep the ashes in urns on their desks.
The Patriot Act was controversial because people were worried about it’s constitutionality regarding illegal search and seizure. This is why it was constrained to calls involving a *foreign* phone connection. So, I question:
* When did this first change?
* When did it include purely domestic calls?
* When did it expand to include everyone?
* How is this now even remotely constitutional? It was controversial when it was far more restricted.
* This was *not* disclosed, if it really helps fight terrorism, why not at least let us know? (rhetorical)
* Didn’t Obama just declare the war on terror over?
* If WoT is over, how can you justify this at all?
* Why should I trust that you won’t generate more “enemy lists” by mining this data?
* Who monitors the database queries? Once they have the data they can query what they want.
* Do you think you are our masters? (rhetorical)
* How do you determine what records you can covertly record and those you don’t?
* Who decides that?
Well, we’ll never know because this President doesn’t answer more than one question ;)
“When in the course of human events.....”
13. "If once the people become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature...." - Thomas Jefferson-1787
One thing is for certain: America's Founders and Framers of its Constitution understood human nature and the human tendency, seen over and over again in history, to abuse power.
Further, "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C. S. Lewis
All who doubt the wisdom of Lewis might watch the video of the President's remarks at an earlier National Prayer Breakfast. There, Obama arrogantly misappropriated Jesus's spiritual challenge to individuals, claiming those words as validating and authorizing abusive use of coercive power by himself and his cronies to "take" from some in order to buy votes and accumulate more power to themselves--all in the name of "helping" the beneficiaries of such unconstitutional "takings."
Hear Samuel Adams:
"Is it now high time for the people of this country to explicitly declare whether they will be free men or slaves. It is an important question which ought to be decided. It concerns more than anything in this life. The salvation of our souls is interested in this event. For wherever tyranny is established, immorality of every kind comes in like a torrent, it is in the interest of tyrants to reduce the people to ignorance and vice. - Samuel Adams
” Hes asking me to TRUST him? With a straight face? What a good actor.”
ooooooooooooo that Barney Rubble! What an actuh!!
I think the IRS leak was meant to get in front of this other, more incriminating, stuff.
And all of it to cover up Benghazi.
I am reading a book right now called: Iron Curtain, The Crushing of Eastern Europe 1944-1956.
It reads like a step by step guide to what they are doing to us and I am only half way through it.
The left is the SAME every generation an they never have any new ideas. (just new technologies to make old ideas more efficient.)
Anyhow, any student of history KNOWS where this ends.
There is nothing trustworthy about Obama. And there never was.
Amen to that, I would not let that Community Organizing corrupted LGBTQ walk my dog.
I don’t trust the current executive branch, the supreme court, or the senate.
Mmmmmm.....spoken like a true Third World banana republic dictator. The wise Founders cautioned Americans not to be gulled when the govt (even in a constitutional democracy) says "trust me----this is for your benefit."
Proves once again why the progs loathe conservatives---b/c only sap-happy libs would accept a statement like that.
When the people fear the govt, that's called tyranny. When the govt fears the people, that's called freedom.
nobama, whoever you are and wherever you came from...I don’t trust YOU and YOUR LIB MINIONS. nobama, you should be waterboarded and imprisoned for the rest of your worthless existence.
The “we” nonbama refers to are him self and his class of tyrants.
Houston... We Have a Problem
“Hes asking me to TRUST him?”
I trust Bozo about as far as he can throw a baseball. Which as you know is about as far as a 3rd grade girl can throw.
No offense intended to any 3rd grade girls, especially those, and I’m sure there are a lot of them, who can throw better than him!
Obama says: "If you cant trust
government my adminsitration, were I am going to have some problems.
Did I fix it?
I’m already there....I trust NONE of them but a VERY FEW!! Getting FEWER ALL THE TIME!!
It really is interesting and infuriating and scary besides, that we have at our disposal so much information and so much documentation about how nations of the past have been destroyed, societies that were free, and now are indebted and enslaved to an oppressive totalitarian government, from which there is little hope of recovering, once all personal freedoms and private ownership are gone AND YET we have so many in America who are so willfully ignorant that history always repeats itself when we make the same mistakes that other nations have made. I would like to read that book myself!
In his own words:
“If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists - to protect them and to promote their common welfare - all else is lost.”
BARACK OBAMA, speech, Aug. 28, 2006
” Mmmmmm.....spoken like a true Third World banana republic dictator.”
He’s getting there fast.
