Susan Rice will replace Tom Donilon as national security adviser, the White House is expected to announce Wednesday.
Rice, currently the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will be formally introduced in her new role by President Barack Obama at 2 p.m. ET. A White House official says Samantha Power, a former special assistant to the president on the National Security Council, will be nominated to replace Susan Rice as the U.N. ambassador.

Let’s try to make this a “teachable moment.” The gop controlled house could zero out all funding for her position. No pay, no bemefits, no travel. But they won’t. It’s not because they’re spineless (even though most of them are spineless). It’s because it’s all kabuki theater. And badly performed kabuki at that. But it will help with fundraising and give the talentless hacks on tee-vee and radio something to practice their fake outrage on.

The students won’t show up for class. Hell, even Jeff Spicoli would show up for class. At least Ferris Bueller would make an effort to hack the attendance records to make it look like he showed up. Boobus Americanus won’t even enroll.
