Tea party witness chokes up: 'I'm not begging my lords for mercy. I'm a born free American woman'

A tea party witness from Alabama launched into emotional testimony Tuesday as she described her group’s political abuse at the hands of the Internal Revenue Service.

“We peacefully assemble. We petition our government. We exercise the right to free speech. And we don’t understand why the government tried to stop us,” Wetumpka Tea Party President Becky Gerritson said during her opening statement before the House Ways and Means Committee.

“I’m not here at as a serf or a vassal,” she went on, beginning to choke up. “I’m not begging my lords for mercy. I’m a born-free American woman, wife, mother and citizen.”

What conservatives need to realize is that if you have nothing of use to the marketplace (which is composed of your fellow humans), capitalism can be equally cruel in that you are totally ignored. Capitalism is still the best system, but it is not perfect either.

That's why God invented "marriage" and "family." Because you can always clean house or mind children or do yard work for the more productive members and/or live with someone who cares for you when you are too old to work -- until the communist deconstruction began in 1973.

If the GOP can’t score on the IRS crime’s as detailed by Dr. Eastman, specifically the sharing of documents filed with the IRS to his political opponents, then every citizen can have their private health records shared by the IRS and find that they may wind up in the hands of creditors, Insurance companies, Banks, data mining companies and perhaps more. Imagine if your a few pounds overweight, and your bank won’t give you a mortgage unless you accept a higher interest rate because of a precieved risk, oy your race is not consistant with the growth plan for that neighborhood. What aspect of peoples lives would be out of bounds?
