No.10 rocked by secret love affair: 'Stunned' PM holds crisis talks
Daily Mail ^

David Cameron has held crisis talks at Downing Street after being told of allegations of a sensational love affair which has potentially significant political implications for him.

For legal reasons, The Mail on Sunday cannot disclose the identities of the people involved or any details of the relationship – even its duration – other than that they are middle-aged figures. The affair has now concluded.

But this newspaper can report that when aides told Mr Cameron the identities of the alleged lovers he was ‘stunned’, and, according to sources, ‘immediately realised the importance of the story’.

Seems there is a super injunction on this one, but it will come out eventually and may even been the precursor to the downfall of Cameron.

In other news today, 30 Tory MPs now ready to support a vote of no confidence in Cameron and UKIP up further in the polls to 21% (highest rating for that particular pollster).

I cannot wait for this fraud Cameron to be thrown out.

Reminds me of the Profumo affair. Mandy Rice Davies and I can’t think of the other girls.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profumo_Affair

The Profumo Affair was a 1963 British political scandal named after John Profumo, Secretary of State for War. His affair with Christine Keeler, the reputed mistress of an alleged Soviet spy, followed by his lying in the House of Commons when he was questioned about it, forced the resignation of Profumo and damaged the reputation of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan’s government. Macmillan himself resigned a few months later because of ill health.

Cameron is no cerservative. No wonder groups like the EDL and others
are rising in the UK. With no leadership on your Muslim problem, these
other groups, as bad as they might be are filling the leadership vacuum.

Christine Keeler was the main one who supposedly involved with Profumo. She was certainly a looker back in the day.

Why was he stunned? Maybe it’s his wife?

It is understood that the Prime Minister was told of the relationship - which does not involve anyone serving in the Cabinet - within the past few weeks.

I wonder why it is so explosive if it doesn't involve anyone in his Cabinet. An affair between a man and a woman or same sex?

I can't imagine it being kept secret now that the story has hit the tabloids.

Who knows, speculation is rife. It’ll be out by this time next week.

I understand it’s between a man and a women both in the same Party.

Wait, is Cameron implicated? Is he being accused of having an affair, or is it high ranking members? Who is implicated here?

Boy, would it be justice. The final nail in the coffin of David Cameron. Any stragglers who are real conservatives will turn away in disgust.

One thing about the Brits. They like a good scandal.
Sounds like the powers that be in the UK want Camerion, the fraud out.
No wonder he and his wife went to holiday in Spain and pictures of he
and his wife were released to the public.
Reminds me of the picture of the Clinton’s dancing on the beach, so in
love picture.

Lots of speculation, but definitely not Cameron.

There is a few scandals brewing around the government parties, and a couple of their politicians who are just about to be forced to resign.

Apparently the names of those involved are a bit underwhelming, but their is a more significant story behind it all....all a bit unclear at the moment.

To borrow from hillary! in the land of Charles and Camilla what difference can it make?

Nobody in the cabinet. Why is it such an ‘emergency’ issue? Unless its a royal, who would give a damn? Haven’t British sitcoms desensitized the public to sex scandals yet?

Certainly agree with you on Cameron’s not being a conservative!

Also agree with you that his party has provided no leadership on the Muslim problem.

Disagree with your apparent assertion, however, that the EDL is some how “bad.”

What is wrong with the EDL? Yes. They are bad-mouthed by the Muslims and their multiculuralist apolgists.

However, I have read very little that puts the EDL in a bad light for those who value Western culture and Christian values.+
