He also quoted medical sources in Saudi Arabia as saying that the king’s vital organs, including his heart, kidneys and lungs, have stopped functioning.

No, no, no. You’ve got it all wrong. We need to tell him so he’ll go over there to assume the title he really wants and leave us the hell alone.

8. sex with animals is ok, as long as you don’t sell the meat inside your village

Well, as long as the meat is sold outside the village it must be OK. Makes me glad I’ve never wanted to eat kabob prepared by Muslims.

Thanks SatinDoll.

The change of the guard in the Kingdom has been very orderly since ibn Saud left for Hell 50-odd years ago.

Prince Salman was close to political conservatism according to a 2007 US diplomatic cable. There he argues against introducing democracy to Saudi Arabia because of regional and tribal divisions.[32]

And what genius at State decided that a man who does not favor democracy is in any way a 'conservative'?

And the AQ “founding writings” of the organization were done in Riyadh in a state institution.

Isn’t this bad? I think he and his wife (American) are good folks. If this is true, I hope that he recovers quickly. God only knows who will be put in his place especially with Obama in office.

American wife? I believe you are confusing King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia with King Abdullah of Jordan. The second Abdullah, the King of Jordan, has an American wife (and an American mother, for what it is worth).

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, whom I have been aware of since 1980, is/was of a very conservative Islamic stripe, whom many of the Americans who were in 'The Magic Kingdom' at the same time *I* was, never wanted to see ascend to the throne. We all preferred that his half-brother Fahd to succeed King Khalid, which is what happened. Abdullah succeeded Fahd, which concerned me at the time it happened, but it appears that my concerns may (or may not) have been unjustified (there is so much hidden about 'The Magic Kingdom' to even observant eyes that an outsider really never fully knows the score...)

Wikipedia? Seriously? So, I went and looked anyway... absolutely nothing on the King’s wikipedia page regarding death.

You know what I find even more amazing??? This report and picture out of Saudi Arabia yesterday - May 27, 2013 - showing King Abdullah speaking to Prince Salman, and detailing how the King chaired a cabinet meeting all while “clinically dead” according to the Iranian government...

Next time I would seriously suggest waiting on word from a reputable source before taking anything you see in the Iranian Press as truth.

Too bad(?) this is all wishful thinking on the part of the Iranian Mullahs. Meanwhile, Saudi Press published a picture of the King [apparently] taken yesterday, speaking with Prince Salman, before chairing a cabinet meeting. Pretty amazing whose organs are all non-functioning. ;)

Don’t know where a couple words disappeared to in the last sentence... It should read;

[See my posts right above these in regard to the Saudi newspaper article and photo]

Every once in a while I take a chance and it fails. I always feel bad about it and the fact that Wikipedia has taken down their blurb about King Abdullah being deceased tells me I’m not alone.

I try to be as accurate as possible when I post a news break. That there are propaganda disseminating organs operating as bona fide news organizations makes it difficult knowing who to trust and who not to: I had not known there were Iranian propaganda disseminating news agencies until it was pointed out to me a day or so ago.

The problem with covering these ‘news agencies’ is one never knows whether their product is truthful or bogus. So now I know something new: ignore them.

Thank you for your most gracious advice.

Is this the guy who Obama bowed to? Maybe Obama will bring him to Washington to lie in State.

I suspect that the bow was kind of like Roman Catholics kissing the Pope’s ring - a sign of respect. The King of Saudi Arabia is the Protector of the Two Holy Cities (Mecca & Medina) and BHO2 is a Muslim, so he bowed. Yes, a Muslim first and a Marxist second but above all, a liar.

If we knew the truth before the election, that BHO2 was Muslim, he wouldn’t have been elected.
