Do you text? When voice won’t work, text does sometimes. Try texting.

Also depending on the house, kids are safer in school...”

School administration and the kids are so used to these drills and they do go to what would be considered the safest internal area. Much safer than being in most homes unless they have underground shelters. The other benefit of having the kids at school is that parents can then deal with their own safety and maybe just small ones yet at home.

The intensity of all of the tornados this year over last year do make me worry about what our upcoming hurricane season will bring. Last year we had nary a one. So many more people in the Texas gulf area now, most have never been through a hurricane and are so ill prepared.

Prayers up for all those wonderful Okies. God watch over you all.

Many trapped under debris in the Moore area.

Police warn people to stay out of the area until they can clear powerlines, etc.

Are you okay in Fort Worth right now? I see radar is down to Fort Worth and a little below Fort Worth. Please answer. These in Oklahoma are destroying everything.

I’m surprised they don’t have better info on the schools.
Cell phones must be disrupted.

They just interviewed someone named Lance, who broke down in tears when describing the devastation. I can only imagine how distressed people there must be.

Thank you. Good to know. That tornado is still on the ground. God help Oklahoma.

Got a 2nd e-mail...”We are all o.k. We are VERY LUCKY. It was incredibly close. Bryant and 104th (just one of the tornadoes). The very next major intersection just south of us! House is fine all of our belongings are fine. We are FINE! Praise Jesus.”

At the moment the tornado genesis parameters aren’t nearly as high in Texas as they are in Oklahoma.

I told him and others I said I was sorry, yes, I admit it, I made a stupid comment and I am sure all of us has done that from time to time in our lives, no one is perfect.

Congressman on CNN calls this an “unusual occurrence”

Tornados in Oklahoma are NOT unusual.

If you look at the wind map, it looks like every wind pattern in the US points at OK.
