Obama to Hollywood Donors: We Haven’t Quite Broken the Republican Party Yet

Barack Obama held another fundraiser last night with Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake and other Hollwood elitists at Harvey Weinstein’s house.

Barack Obama held a fundraiser with Hollywood leftists last night. During the high-dollar event Obama told his supporters that he hasn’t quite broken the the Republicans yet. He also blamed Rush Limbaugh for the gridlock in Washington DC. The Atlantic Wire reported:

President Obama told donors like Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake (who was wearing hipster glasses), and Tommy Hilfiger that Washington gridlock is pretty much Rush Limbaugh’s fault on Monday evening at a fundraiser at Harvey Weinstein’s house in New York’s Greenwich Village.

Obama admitted that his theory — that after the 2012 election, the Republican “fever” would break, and they’d decide to co-sign some of his agenda — was wrong. “My thinking was when we beat them in 2012 that might break the fever, and it’s not quite broken yet,”

So I'm trying to figure this out. According to the Left, Rush Limbaugh is hemorrhaging advertisers because of his controversial statements, and is therefore losing big bucks because of it, and nobody wants to listen to him anymore.

At the same time he is this big scary monster that pulls the GOP strings.

If Rush is influencing ANYONE in the republican party, I'd love to hear of an example.

Rush is a conservative. Very different than the mainstream GOP.

I'd actually enjoy it if the republicans followed Rush's advice.

But we all know they don't.

Obama won two Pres. elections despite Limbaugh breathing down his neck. The tactic here is to marginalize the “limited government” argument and tie it to Limbaugh in order to avoid reason/logical arguments against the dangers of a totalitarian bureaucracy.
