The term Liberal Redneck will strike progressives as an absurd contradiction. Yet, Conservatives will have an immediate, wearying familiarity with the angry, judgmental, uninformed and doctrinaire viewpoint of this group. In fact, the Liberal Redneck is every bit as small-minded, bigoted, dismissive, self-righteous, judgmental, uneducated and intolerant as the worst fundamentalist.
The problem in America today is that there is never a level playing field offered for the discussion of ideas. Therefore, most important topics are only mentioned in a predetermined format. In other words, one can mention, for example—gay marriage, but only with the proviso that the topic for debate and conclusion—is closed. But the Liberal Redneck is a special kind of smug, progressive partisan....

This is an idiot who only gets paid to speak words that other people write. As far as I know he has never; in his entire life, had an original thought of his own. Probably never will.

At the PBS station I was at for a number of years were a couple of high-tech redneck liberals who of course were better than everyone else.
One is still there and the other one finally had enough and retired recently. The one that left decided to cause some trouble on the way out accusing of someone else he hated of being some kind of potential threat causing a big investigation.

There are some Black People I outright hate, but because of their bankrupt culture, which has nothing to do with their DNA, having to do with how they were raised.
And there are white people “white trash” that I have EVEN more because they make my own race look like crap.
I have a saying, “Trash is Trash” be it Black, White, Yellow, Red, Blue, Purple, etc,....
I hold no one’s DNA against them, I just hold their programming if it is infected with social viruses against them, and mostly I pity them because they weren’t raised right..
Yet I bet he’s just fine that POTUS has been turned into an affirmative action position. That a guy can become a pretend state senator, then a pretend US senator, then POTUS having voted “present” on half the stuff that was before the legislature while he was in office. Palin could kick his ass on any issue you care to name.
