LOS ANGELES (AP) — Supporters of immigration reform rallied across the nation on May Day in lively gatherings that were marred by a burst of violence in Seattle, where police fired pepper spray at rock-throwing protesters in clashes that left 17 people arrested.
Thousands joined May Day rallies in dozens of cities from Concord, N.H., to Bozeman, Mont., many of them offering support for legislation under consideration by Congress that would overhaul immigration laws and bring many of the estimated 11 million people living in the U.S. illegally out of the shadows.

I will say it (again). Why is it people come here “for a better life” and then want to turn us into what they are fleeing from? Is it some kind of twisted psychology that makes them want to turn the “last best hope of Earth” into just another third-world ***thole??? It’s maddening.
And how many of these slimeballs will ever get prosecuted and incarcerated? Huh? None? Every one of these slimeballs should have the book thrown at them. It'll never happen.

The police in Seattle are in a bad position. They are under a federal order to police their policing, but they take a hands off approach to these protests. The result is that the anarchists try to set fire to Nike Town and Starbucks several times a year.
If I'm not mistaken, China also used to parade military on May Day!
Back to USA and LA, it's not surprising that the leftists would select a "May Day" to have a rally, seeing as how it is connected to their communist leanings.

Violence “mars” the rally?
BS. These rallies are meant to create as much violence as possible, as long as the organizers can claim a certain degree of deniability.
In Seattle they know they can get away with it...If about 100 counter protesters should up with baseball bats then the “fun” could really begin!
How many illegals were rioting and why are they still in this country.
I feel certain that violence was the entire point for many of the attendees.
Are we there yet? Is there anyone left in the country who doesn’t realize that every shred of violence, despite their insistemce that WE are the terrorists, has come at the hands of the left? That every instance of property damage, most rapes and killings, racism, bigotry, death threats, and stalkings, are perpetrated by the left no matter where it is or how hard they try to blame us, it ALWAYS lands at their doorstep. And yet no matter how many times we see it, no matter how many times they falsely accuse us, every time a charge is brought and they are proven liars, no one will admit that the left’s violent behaviour is on full display every single time more than ten of them get together, They never stay peaceful. Never.
