Vladimir Putin and the Boston Bombings
American Thinker ^ | May 2, 2013 | Kim Zigfeld

The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is singing you a siren song, Mr. and Mrs. America, about how you and he are struggling together against global terrorism. Don't you believe it, though -- not for one neo-Soviet second. Russia stands with the terrorists, not against them. Russia stands against America, and all she represents.

On April 25, 2013, the Israeli air force shot down a drone aircraft five miles from its port city of Haifa, which has a population of about 300,000. Hezb'allah denied sending the drone, but six months ago, when another drone was intercepted by Israeli Defense Forces, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezb'allah, openly boasted that his fighters had assembled and dispatched the Iranian-designed aircraft and declared ominously that "it was not the first time, and it will not be the last."

One day after the latest drone attack, Russian deputy foreign minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with a Hezb'allah official in Beruit and told assembled reporters: "We cooperate with Hezb'allah and respect the Lebanese people's will... this party, which has proven its credibility [over the course of time], must [have its opinions] respected."

The United States recognizes Hezb'allah as a terrorist organization, as does Israel. But for Russia, Hezb'allah is a partner and ally. Similarly, Russia actively supports the genocidal anti-U.S. regime in Syria, and it actively supports Iran. Before they were swept away by popular insurrections, Russia also supported the anti-democratic rulers of Egypt and Libya while the U.S. sided with the popular revolts against them.

That's actually only the half of it. Russia is even carrying out terror acts of its own -- for example, menacing neutral Sweden with military invasion. And it has been convicted more times than you can count in the European Court for Human Rights for state-sponsored crimes ranging from kidnapping to

Putin is one more corrupt poltician rich from Oil and Gas profits. This story is why we are unable to understand global events. Walid Shoebat and many more have posted videos about the moslem problem in mosc0w here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3sjnU_YFR8.

Those who would preserve Their Christian Heritage are lableled nationalists. Moscow is 30 PERCENT moslem. Something is going to snap.

You have to wonder, who has the more corrupt elections, the Russians or the Americans?

The results are not too great in either case. At least Putin was definitely born in Russia.

But the arguments made here are important and should be weighed in the balance of any conservative American response to the complexity unfolding.

Not everything will be what it seems. A sense of proportion will be required. What’s more important to everyone’s future security, a few guys with pressure cooker bombs, or bankers willing to grab retirement funds to prop up failing socialist countries in Europe?

I don’t condone terror, but we need to keep our eye on the ball these days, the pressure cooker bombers might destroy a hundred lives but the international bankers can destroy millions with the stroke of a pen. Vlad Putin is another variable in a complex puzzle, he doesn’t control much more of the “game” being played than the U.S. government. What he thinks and does are important but not controlling. The people we really need to keep under close watch are grey, anonymous individuals whose names are probably not known to 99.9% of people, even to those who try to follow politics.

And these people will stop at nothing to preserve their own power. The death of nations and millions of people would mean nothing to them, so long as their security and wealth were preserved. I don’t think many of them live in North America either, so we’re on shaky ground, if it came time to place us in mortal danger to support “the game” being played, then that’s what will happen. Potential agents of extreme solutions are out there for the hiring, and could be identified quite easily.

The pressure cooker bombers are just boys playing a man’s game and they somehow succeeded where most would fail. It’s a terrible thing, just like any random acts of madness. But the man’s game is financial and when the pieces are moved on that chessboard, even Vladimir Putin will have to take note and respond carefully. He’s no better off, really, than any of us.

Does that invalidate her comments?

Looking at your posting history, it is very Russia-centric. Does that make you a theme troll? I’m guessing you are Russian, so therefore would have some insight in this area. I’d like to hear your comments on the substance of what she says.

Outside of Israel, there aren’t any good guys in the ME, just bad and worse.

Dictators being toppled and replaced by the Muslim Brotherhood is going from bad to worse, and affecting neighboring countries and world markets in a negative way.

Kim Zifeld is a theme troll.

You are 100% correct. She's reflexively anti-Russian.

Putin beat the Communist party in his election.

He is not a dictator.

Putin doesn’t have gay pride marches with his army.

Well, she might have a few things right and a lot wrong. Overall, article is a load of bovine excrement.
Calling Putie a dictator is a little exagerration and I can’t see what author want you to do about it because this article is also about moslem terror.
Ok, let’s think Putin is a dictator and Russia is an Evil Empire. How can this thinking help in a War on Terror and how exactly is it related to Boston bombing? Does she advocates FBI and State Dept for ignoring Russian warnings this way? I can’t see any message in this article.

The United States recognizes Hezb'allah as a terrorist organization

So what? The US also is supporting the Jihad in Syria, in Libya, in Egypt with the Muslim Brotherhood; it did in Bosnia when the Jihadists were flooding that country and the US supported the Jihadists lopping off heads of Serbs. Right now it's hard to claim any high moral ground.

Putin supports HAMAS also. Putin’s Russia is the biggest terrorist sponsor in the world.
