They did manage to pass a law once again exempting themselves from insider trading laws.

It may be easier and more useful to join the democrat party and take it over than to try to reform the GOP

“The fact is, big, centralized governnment PRE-DATES the Constitution!”

Always interesting to see "progressives" embrace Socialist policy. Socialism is as old as recorded history. You want progressive? How about a Constitutional Republic of free people that can shoot the tyrants? Now *that* is progressive.

All due respect means no respect at all.

A man as disgraceful and contemptible as Boehner derserves no respect and deserves our utmost contempt.

At least Benedict Arnold was a true war hero before becoming a traitorous bastard.

too much has been made of that.

It was their staff.. there’s no need to see their investments and what not. That’s private info.

I have been saying it for years- We need a TEA party march on GOP Headquearters.

What does it take to organize a march?

Does that mean representatives still have to abide by insider trading laws?

That is true. I believe that we should start running tea party candidates in democrat primaries. The democrats have obviously been running their candidates in Republican primaries for decades. How else can you explain Boehner? The Republican Party exists solely to pretend to put up an opposition to the socialist agenda. In the end, they are partners with the democrats in their zeal to turn America into a Socialst Utopia.

The solution to the downfall of America will not be political.

It will be economic or spiritual, and most likely a combination of the two.

democrats get elected by talking like conservatives when they campaign

imagine the shockwaves if we got some elected who actually acted that way in office

What does it take to organize a march?

1. Money - lots of it
2. Smarts - a scarce commodity
3. Some degree of outrage - sadly, it's probably going to take a major catastrophe for that

The spiritual downfall has already occurred. When a government agency feels free to list Evangelical Christians and Catholics as the number one and two threats to the nation, then there is no more pretending that God will be shedding his Grace on Thee anymore.

This is not the Country I grew up in. I fear for my Children’s future. Unfortunately the US was the last best hope for the world. We have now joined the world and I don’t see much hope in the future.

Here's the text of what they voted on, which took less than 60 seconds for both houses.

It looks to me like they will still have to abide by insider trading laws. I hope.

Yep, Boehner is a fraud.

If anyone had any doubts, and wanted to give him the benefit of them, those doubts should have been taken away when it was clear he would allow stand-alone bills to repeal ObummerCare, knowing they were meaningless since Reid would not take them up in the Senate, while squashing any attempt in the House to tack a repeal amendment onto a continuing resolution where it would force the issue.

He is both a phony and a fraud. Yet he is the leader of the House Republicans.

I keep saying this so pardon the redundancy, but if you are not listening to his FREE podcasts, you are really missing something special. NObody is saying what needs to be said more clearly than this man. He isn’t stating only opinions, he states the facts to back them up. I’m learning more about my government from Levin than any other source.

But so are all the other Republicans that voted to make him the Speaker of the House.

Sure, Boehner is ass in elephant’s clothing, but let’s place the blame where it really belongs: On the 218 Republican Members of Congress who re-elected this jerk as Speaker, either because they think he’s doing a good job or more likely, because they know he sucks, but they don’t have the spine to throw him out.
