Andrew Kitzenberg had a bird's eye view of the shootout between police and the Tsarnaev brothers, April 19, 2013, in Watertown, Mass. Kitzenberg managed to capture the event on his camera phone and posted his images, along with a commentary, to his blog getonhand.com
The gunfight, which saw the detonation of another pressure cooker bomb, left one of the suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, dead. The younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsanaev, managed to elude capture and was the subject of a massive manhunt which virtually shut down the city of Boston. Later that evening he was apprehended hiding out in a boat in a residential backyard.
Kitzenberg writes: "On Thursday night [early Friday morning, April 19, 2013] at 12:45am EST. I was in my living room working on my computer when I heard multiple 'pops' coming from outside. At that point, I had no idea that I was about to become an eye witness to the biggest news story in the country."

Every time I heard some politico idiot use the word “victory” when they caught these two clowns I cringed. If this is a victory, I can’t even imagine what a defeat would look like.
Apparently none that can shoot straight.At least in Boston.
A billion dollars worth of law enforcement resources in the immediate area, thousands of cops, helicopters etc., and #2 gets away?
This is a zoomed in view from the last image. The red circle highlights the pressure cooker bomb that was used just moments after this photo was taken.
And it didn't blow them or the getaway vehicle up?

A four-minute instructional video just released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) entitled “Active Shooter Situation: Options for Consideration” is filled with numerous suggestions for people confronting an “active shooter,” including evacuating the area, hiding from the shooter, warning others about the danger, locking and blocking doors, and silencing cellphones. Only in the gravest extreme, however, is resistance recommended:
If you are caught out in the open and cannot conceal yourself or take cover, you might consider trying to overpower the shooter with whatever means are available.
As the narrator is intoning this, the video shows an office worker reaching into his drawer and pulling out… a pair of scissors.
Wonder if the photographer of these pix grew some b@lls and pulled out a 12 ga. and fired it at the perp, instead of shooting pictures?
