Your post reminded me. I was watching CNN today and a reporter on the scene said, “Police are rushing down the street with assault type guns.”

I nearly laughed my head off. They were rifles, not guns (actually guns are neither handguns nor rifles), they weren't “assault type”, either since no one knows what the govn. thinks an “assault” “gun” is so no one knows what an “assault type” is.

Dumb reporters and dumb Hussein/government. “Assault type guns.” Does anyone else think that is funny?

Well if I had to define these things, "Assault rifles" would be an M-16/M-4 that can fire fully automatic. AR's? Those are just semi automatic rifles.

Well, now we know. Those huge gunfights? Cops having a bad case of spray and pray. The dirt bags had one 9mm pistol between them, and when the kid was captured in the boat, he didn’t even have a gun on him, so the botched “suicide attempt” was nothing of the sort.
