Cops are seeking these two men (above) who were spotted near the site of the Boston blasts. Investigators probing the deadly Boston Marathon bombings are circulating photos of two men spotted chatting near the packed finish line, The Post has learned.
In the photos being distributed by law-enforcement officials among themselves, one of the men is carrying a blue duffel bag. The other is wearing a black backpack in the first photo, taken at 10:53 a.m., but it is not visible in the second, taken at 12:30 p.m.
“The attached photos are being circulated in an attempt to identify the individuals highlighted therein,” said an e-mail obtained by The Post. “Feel free to pass this around to any of your fellow agents elsewhere.”

This picture of the guy running proves nothing. It’s absolutely insane to think a RUNNER might... oh, I dunno... RUN from danger?
I still think the 3 dudes hanging together are suspicious.... especially after the 3rd one in gray jacket w/black back pack seems to separate from the other two in photos I saw yesterday.
1 - black stocking cap, black jacket, ME
1 - black t-shirt w/white ball point pen (bic?) on his tshirt collar, ME with bushy black curly hair
1 - light gray jacket, black back pack - ditto ME and hair
I’ve yet to hear the color of the man who set the back pack down while on the phone. What’s your news source?
You make a convincing case, but what bothers me here is that the Post published this so long after the LEOs knew they were not the guys...something not right here.
No one is saying it proves anything. There was a report yesterday, perhaps incorrect, that the guy running in shredded clothes had been ID’d as the guy who dropped the bag at the first bombing site. Hence the interest in this guy.

The guy could be a legitimate Morrocan student and distance runner and still be a bomber.
Agree. I thought from the git-go that the bomber is a runner, and since the BM attracts international participants, would be easy for him to blend in w/everyone else.
See the space in front of the guy with the white hat? Look around. Everyone is packed like sardines, while here is this open space. His shoulders are kind of hunched forward, as if holding something with both hands. I think he had complaints about the protruding backpack from other folks around him so he moved it to his front.
The NYP captions their second photo, “The man in blue still has the bag over his shoulder in the crowd later, but the black backpack the man in the cap was wearing is no longer visible.”
However, I think they are wrong, the man with the white cap IS still carrying the black backpack. If you look closely at both pictures, the see-thru side pocket of the backpack contains various items that are just about visible in both pictures. Maybe he shifted the backpack to his left shoulder.
Still, they seem to have caught the attention of the blond woman to the left in the second picture.

I agree, and people here seem to be missing the point that other websites have already identified these men and have their FB accounts. The media effing up again and again.

They think it is highly amsusing to make fun of the casualties of the Boston marathon.
The commentator then says “ It could be that the same person came first,second and third.”
It should be send to some Republican media and made to circulate.The french should be made to apologize to Boston and ALL Americans.
These two guys are already dead and dead men tell no tails => how else can they deport this other wealthy/connected Saudi National after a scant 15 hours of investigation. That fish was to big not to throw back by Obama’s calculation.

Yup, or it could be baby's diapers or a baby's crib mobile from a nearby store. Or it could be a shower towel with a huge bulge in it, or he's just glad to see someone.
Maybe our government doesn’t want them apprehended. In any event, the guys behind this event are long gone. Probably were out of the country before the bombs were placed.

How much you want to bet these two are back in Saudi Arabia now?....
No takers for that bet. How do we know for sure that these guys aren’t a pair the POST selected for their article. Just two guys from the crowd. Now IF, repeat IF indeed they had backpacks, etc. on them in one photo and not the photo the Post showed, maybe just maybe, they could be involved. So far I’m not buying into the theory.
