Don’t laugh, it is not just the Muslims! In the winter of 1985 I was a graduate student and rode a motorcycle to and from school. Sunday mornings I rode it to church. On a very cold Sunday morning I was walking in, wearing my winter overalls and holding the helmet and gloves in my hand, when the parish priest stopped me and said that I was not supposed to walk in dressed like that. He insisted that women, in his parish, only wear dresses to church! To make a long story short, I did not attend that church much longer after that!
