I have been advocating the repeal of the 17th amendment for years.
Never gonna happen with all of the low information voters out there...
Best we can hope for is an Amendment that would allow state legislatures to impeach the federal senators by a majority vote and appoint a replacement for the remainder of their term...
However you want to describe it, a moderate republican is an extra democrat. They all need to be removed.
It had better be DOA in the house!

Anyone that ties themselves to McCain, we always seem to get betrayed, on the most serious issues. The NRA supported Reid over Sharon. I still don't like that. NRA has got to become more aggressive with ads and even running NRA members as candidates to replace these rinos. Stack the deck, like the libs do, with good people who respect the constitution..

You’re right about Alexander being up in 2014. I think Corker will be up again in 2018.
If a Tea Party candidate runs against Alexander and beats him, it will make my election watching primary night.
I don’t see the purpose. This isn’t good for Democrats or for liberty. Somethings going to get through.

I did some work on Alexander’s very first campaign for Governor way back when. Didn’t take me long to realize the error of my ways. At time I was an LEO. He had no use for us. Wanted us to stay out of his way and not be seen. We were two levels below Earth worms.
What’s an LEO?
