If Dennis Rodman can go to North Korea and hang with leader Kim Jong-un, then why cant Stevie Wonder? As tensions rise on the Korean Peninsula, and Kim threatens nuclear war against the U.S. and its allies in the region, the music legend says hed like to travel there and talk some sense into the young Supreme Leader.
Speaking about unity and love with reporters backstage at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night, Wonder said, Listen, we could not be here without love. I wish I could say to the president at this very moment, President Obama, will you let me go to North Korea to talk to the leader? What is it with celebrities thinking they can change the minds of dictators?
Steve the ones in prison camps would like to talk about ‘love’ to you as well.
No matter where he goes it all looks the same.
I guess Dennis Rodman’s visit and advice didn’t do the trick.
Parts 1 & 2
Why not send the band War over there so they can sing “Why Can’t We Be Friends”?
We start off with Jimmy Carter, then Dennis Rodman and now Stevie Wonder. And no one can seem to figure out why we aren’t taken seriously in the world.
I’m not seeing it.
Sounds good, Stevie, but you’ll have to drive your own boat.
Sure thing, by all means, send all the useful idiots to North Korea!
Stevie is no longer a wonder....
You know, these two might just hit it off... lots of emotion and narcissism. Infantilism with a capital "I"... It might work.
Will he be taking pictures?
