Coulter: Thatcher Wanted To Teach Palin How To "Speak Proper English"
MOFOPOLITICS Video excerpt via RealClearPolitics ^ | April 8, 2013 | MOFOPOLITICS Video

COULTER: One thing that I know, because I know people who know her, is when Sarah Palin first burst on the scene, the political scene, she wanted to have a meeting with Palin, because she saw raw political talent, but wanted to teach Sarah Palin to do what she did.

COULTER: To teach her to speak proper English. Palin did not meet with her, and just a year or two ago, when Sarah Palin was promoting some reality show or something, she went to England. And she announced to the press that she was planning on dropping by to see Lady Thatcher, and Lady Thatcher put out the word that she was not available.

COULTER: What, I think, a lot of us saw, that Sarah Palin did have raw political talent. And if she had been willing to put her nose to the grindstone and pursue improving herself, speaking proper English, reading stuff, knowing lots of things, she could have been great. She’s a fine person, but that isn’t what she’s pursuing.  (via MP)

I sense Ann trending toward the Ariana Huffington path to liberalism.

Ann Coulter regurgitates the leftist meme that Sarah Palin is ‘stupid’ and she does it in an underhanded way, heaping praise on Palin while making it plain that the former Alaska governor needed ‘help’ in articulating her views and learning how to speak like a proper politician. The condescension is palpable - and offensive. Alleged conservative Ann Coulter using the death of Margaret Thatcher to get in a cheap shot at Sarah Palin is disgusting. This latest comment, along with Coulter’s quixotic pimping of quasi-liberal New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, has rendered Ann Coulter’s political observations basically useless and raises the question, who’s side is she on, anyway?

What a maroon, that Coulter chick.

Seems she has been taken in by all the Leftist (the Guardian) and RINO (list your own favourites) propaganda. Let's use the memory-bank that is the Internet and go back to 2011 when Palin was "snubbed" by Thatcher, or was she?

Margaret Thatcher did not ‘snub’ Sarah Palin: The truth about the Iron Lady and the former Governor of Alaska

The author of the piece, Nile Gardiner, was a former aid to Lady Thatcher. He writes:

I have spoken to Lady Thatcher’s Private Office regarding the story, and they confirm that the attack on Sarah Palin definitely did not come from her office, and in no way reflects her views. ...... She has always warmly welcomed like-minded figures in the United States, and has in the past met with numerous US presidential candidates and political dignitaries when they have visited London. But at the age of 85 she is now able to receive very few visitors at all. There was never any snub of Sarah Palin by Lady Thatcher’s office. However, there has been a great deal of mischief-making and unpleasantness from sections of the liberal press in a vain and futile attempt to use Margaret Thatcher’s name to smear a major US politician.

Care to try again, Ann?

Hey Dimwit, Lady Thatcher’s Alzheimer’s was well advanced by the time Palin came around.

“Ann is SUCH a good judge of political candidates.”

I hate to say it but even Ann gets it right once in awhile. If Palin had gotten a diction coach and moderated her voice to a mild screech and learned the definition of a run on sentence she would have had a lot more punch. She didn’t do it and sadly it has affected her credibilty and her political career.

Well, America is not GB and GB is not America.  We made that clear in 1776.

Thanks Ann Coulter for mentioning that Mrs. Thatcher knew who is Sarah Palin and wanted to meet with her, but did she know about you?

I'm sure she reads "stuff". She just doesn't read or believe the leftist claptrap that passes for "stuff". As for how she speaks that's EXACTLY her appeal. No parsing words. No wordsmithing. She speaks her mind and does it well.

Ann is single. Sarah is happily married.

With the right, Sarah is more popular than Ann, and prettier.

I believe this explains Ann’s palpable jealousy of Sarah since her ascendancy.

Hey Coulter! Stick it up your boney behind.

I have studied Palin and confirm not only with all my PhD credentials from one of the world’s top universities but most importantly with the wisdom God gave me that Sarah Palin is highly intelligent and more so than most of the biological bile that represents the global political establishment.

Years ago Palin was quite green around the ears when it came to the national stage and its access via the power broker establishment inside the District of Corruption. But since she has become more aware, honing her presentation and delivery and is developing into a fine conservative stateswoman.

Unlike Coulter who jumps into bed and spreads for the disgusting Maher and then feigns to counsel us on the superior attributes of the Flip Flop Master, Herr RINO Romney, Palin is truly interested in preserving, continuing and extending the American experiment.

Yes I agree, and for Coulter to rely on knowing people who knew Thatcher is just childish.

However as I grab my fire extinguisher for protection, quite apart from Ann Coulter I have commented that Sarah Palin failed to cultivate her speaking style, including when giving interviews and commenting on FOX. She just talks and talks and talks and didn’t learn that a few well placed words would convey authority.
