Seven hundred plus retired Special Forces veterans have signed an open letter addressed to the U.S. House of Representatives. “Special Operatipons Speaks” is demanding that there be a select committee be formed by Congress to investigate the attack that took place on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya. To: Members of The U.S. House of Representatives
Subject: The Benghazi attacks on 9/11/ 2012
The undersigned are a representative group of some 700 retired Military Special Operations professionals who spent the majority of their careers preparing for and executing myriad operations to rescue or recover detained or threatened fellow Americans.
The purpose of this letter is to encourage all members of the US House of Representatives to support H.Res. 36, which will create a House Select Committee on the Terrorist Attack in Benghazi. It is essential that a full accounting of the events of September 11, 2012, be provided and that the American public be fully informed regarding this egregious terrorist attack on US diplomatic personnel and facilities. We owe that truth to the American people and the families of the fallen.
It appears that many of the facts and details surrounding the terrorist attack which resulted in four American deaths and an undetermined number of American casualties have not yet been ascertained by previous hearings and inquiries. The House Select Committee should address, at a minimum, the following questions:
1. Why was there no military response to the events in Benghazi?

I find it reprehensible this Congress has not called for the regime to produce the 30 Benghazi survivors for interviews. The fact this whole mess has been swept beneath the run is an indictment not only on the dems, but the repubs who refuse to press Obama.

Whatever the banksters were scheming in Libya and Syria, the Republicans have apparently received their orders to shut up about it if they want to be players in 2014.

Although an investigation is warranted, I wouldn’t count on the same congress that accepts Obama’s forged Birth Certificate to hold an investigation to find the truth.
The Congress is merely a tool these days , it is no longer legitimate itself, it is merely a rubber stamp for a corrupt country.
i would love to have those that have used a laser designator explain the steps leading up to them lasing a target.
does the equipment activate if there are no available assets on station? does it function at all?
if available, do you request tasking thereby sync’ing frequencies with the asset on station?
does the designator ‘go green’ signifying its ready to fire once the request has been accepted, the asset tasked, frequencies sync’d, and the pilot (back in langley) ready?
when the target is ‘painted’... typically how long before the asset fires?
would you ever break cover to ‘paint’ a target if the above steps were not completed?
what happens if it doesn’t fire?
what reasons would there be for it not firing?
i believe these questions would lead to a very uncomfortable situation for someone
Get serious. No one in any position of influence or power will ask any questions...the topic is dead, Jim. Sad, but true. Those who keep bringing the issue forth are seen as thew eqiuivalent of “birthers”: nutcases and so forth.
