How many SM-3s are on our CGs and DDGs over in the Sea of Japan? How many have we sold to Japan so far for their Kongo class ships? Have all 4 of them received the BMD upgrades? You can bet Japan’s air and missile defense units are spun up now.

Evidently the Musudan has never even been tested, although one can infer its range and payload from predecessor designs (up to 4,000 km and up to one ton). Probably inertial navigation.

Yes, but it could reach Tokyo, bases in Okinawa and it could flip Guam all the way over!

Not Guam, then. Tokyo perhaps. The east coast of NK is very close to Japan.
