Obama Booed at Elite 8 Game... After Golf Outing

by John Pudner 30 Mar 2013

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Nearly half of the crowd at Saturday's Elite 8 game between Syracuse and Marquette at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. booed President Barack Obama when he was shown on the big screen with just over ten minutes to play in the first half. After the boos erupted, a contingency of Obama supporters countered with cheers.

Obama also golfed on Saturday for the first time since the sequester cuts went into effect at the beginning of March and then took some of his foursome--and his Secret Service detail--to watch Syracuse oust Marquette and secure a trip to the Final Four.

One would have expected a friendlier crowd for the President, but there are still several possible explanations for the boos. Obama and his White House team had supported Georgetown (Syracuse's rival) in the past, and the President had forecast Indiana (who was eliminated by Syracuse) to win the East Regional and go on to win the national title, for example. Or, perhaps they booed because POTUS had gone to the game with Secret Service agents while the White House remains closed to tours.

Yet another reason to not go to sporting events, one of hundreds I could come up with.

I was reading about how evil Hussein had become in Iraq and about the things he did to his fellow citizens, even to his friends and family. Pure evil rebuilding Babylon and I hope our people didn't get any on them taking him down.

Reading about him got me wondering about what sort of person has been installed above us, and what happens if he gets to a point where he, for whatever reason, no longer feels constrained or that he shouldn't be.

Romney was worthless. Sitting at a game a booing at a screen is worthless. It is time America did something that made a difference. It would start with not voting for a McCain or an Obama.

Sitting at a game a booing at a screen is worthless.

Yeah, I think it has some significant symbolism...like a barometer.

No one was booing him in 2008. Let the catcalls spread and proliferate!

The contempt will translate to votes.

I believe he is getting close to that. Friends and family who, two years ago would have scoffed at the notion are starting to “get it.” We are in serious trouble.

Maybe they booed because zero was there with his boy friend.

The ubiquity of his face is starting to resemble the pattern of those like Saddam, the Kims of NK, Stalin, Big Brother.

They weren’t boo-ing him. They were bho-ing him
Due to sequestration, they were resorted to only voicing his initials.

Indeed. I’ve said it before, it’s clear that the goal is to erase in the minds of the people every line that separates Government from any activity or institution.

Is there any sport that they haven’t yet profaned with their Big Brother telescreen mugs looming over the “subjects”? (Michelle attended the World Series.) Oops, NASCAR, because they’re all racists, of course, and hockey, because they’re too white.

double-oops — I forgot that Michelle and Jill Biden did indeed take over and therefore stain a NASCAR race, and were more or less booed off the stage.

Perhaps you are clever enough to make a presidential pun out of Caiaphas?

The booing was probably because of the near strip-search they had to endure to get into the venue. If he’d a stayed home it wouldn’t have happened.

You mean Barack Hussein Calaphas, king of the American Calaphate?

Last April on vacation I was eating dinner at a restaurant right across the street from the DC Verizon Center arena.

Suddenly there was a flash mob of black youts that seemed to appear out of nowhere in mere seconds. They were looting a vending truck. A few minutes later there was a huge LEO influx.

The nation’s capital can be a scary place.

I’m sure when Baraq is visiting it’s much safer.

Perhaps the simplest explanation is the best. Those that booed don’t like him.
