That is a common Leftist tactic -- just pull a good-sounding number out of the air. Why? Because they will seldom ever get called on it. Fact checking seems to only apply to the opposition. Just recall how many statements with eroneous numbers Biden and Obama have used since 2008 -- and compare that with how many they have ever been challenged on.

He would have been fine in public if he had been on his meds.

That is sort of their underlying intent: take away the guns and keep the populace medicated. SOMA, anyone?

AHA!

A cast iron woman...I like em too, got a full set.

However, I just got my first ceramic saute-skillet. Just as a test, I got it hot, (no oil) broke an egg in it, and let it fry.

With a quick motion I flipped the egg (no spatula) Of course the yolk broke at that point.

As I swirled the egg around the skillet it picked up any trails of the broken yolk. Nothing stuck to the skillet.

I buttered some bread and toasted it in the skillet. It was the perfect egg sandwich, which I consumed on the way to work.

Well thank you very much Granny.

I’m on a roll this morning but I am overwhelmed.

Let’s talk Peggy Noonan...what the hey?

This woman chastises the congress for not passing gun control sooner...sheesh.

What right do those political elite have to decide to pass legislation that we don’t want?

The only way it will ever end is for us to throw those people outta there.

That’s gonna take years.

All this with NO help from the entrenched political elite Republicans.

I think McCain jumped the shark with his stupid “whacko bird” comment.

Slowly but surely they are going to fall away.

It will work easily in Montana. The small population will multiply these tactics and you will get more conservative people through the primaries.

Well, they could use reformed fags. They otherwise would still have the same skill-set.

Sheesh, they have so many talking points about guns....

ASSAULT WEAPONS....they fooled us for many years with that one. And still they bring it out and dust it off that we may fall for it again.

BACKGROUND CHECKS....another silly phrase meaning mostly nothing.

It goes on and on and still they try it again.

WHERE ARE OUR ELECTED GUYS??

Al Shapton the expert on gun control?

WHERE IS BOEHNER? MCCONNEL?

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

Those people who aren’t fine if they “go off their meds” should never be allowed to be out running around loose among normal people.

Got to have at least one old fashioned cast iron skillet. But like you, hey....non-stick skillets are great.

Above the recipe for my pic...It's called garlic potato gratin.

If gay “marriage” becomes the law of the land...it’s open season on religion as a whole.

Expect the Libs to start saying that 2,000 years of Christian history and teaching is nothing more than a lie and a hate crime.

And that puts us one step closer to becoming Sodom and Gomorrah.

And may I add? Softly?

Muslims believe in multiple marriages. Give it time. Soon they will be demanding that THEIR religious beliefs get credence via society too.

Oh yeah, not just Muslims but trust, this is next.

Finally, I don’t know why I cannot marry my dog.

I LOVE MY DOG!

It IS all about love, right? And don’t tell me my dog has no choice. SHE’D AGREE READILY TO MARRY ME!

I’d even give her a big dog biscuit as a wedding present.

She’d be cool with that.

No problem that she’s also female. Time come for me to marry her, same-sex marriage will be readily accepted.

If you notice, they [both sides] do that on nearly every major issue.

Regarding climate, they have used the same arguments through global cooling, global warming, and now, global climate change.

Regarding fossil fuels, they just dust off the same ole speeches and talkingpoints they have been using since Nixon was president.

Regarding immigration reform, notice that they muddle illegal with legal immigration. And 'secure the border' always tops the list, only to be ignored later. Most of the current speeches on comprehesive immigration reform are basically the same ones used in the 60s, the 80s, the 90s, and the GWBush era.

Thanks for the recipe, looks good.

non-stick skillets are great.

Oh I've had plenty of teflon and "iron stone" skillets, but now, my old long-time favorite saute-skillet is outta here. Ceramic rules!

“Oh yeah, not just Muslims but trust, this is next.”

Nope the ex-communicated Mormons will petition for acceptance of polygamy...and shortly after that the Pedo’s will demand acceptance of their desire to marry 5 year old boys.

Once this line is crossed...marriage...as we’ve known it since Genesis will cease to exist.

Your welcome.

Peggy lost her brain cells along time ago and the poor dear thinks we still pay attention to her. LOL I did enjoy her book about Hillary but that was many years ago.

Living in the great state of Arizona, I am embarrassed by McCain. He knew he had boo booed big time and tried to walk the “wacko-bird” back. I loved Cruz coming out mocking him. We all are PROUD wacko-birds.

And why can’t I marry my son? That way he won’t have to pay inheritance tax. Why not, I love my son.... I see that it is all about the destruction of Christianity and money.

Since this is the Easter thread and I have zero interest in watching political “opinion”, I will share my most memorable Easter Vigil happening.

Visiting San Francisco a few years ago, the Saturday evening service fit our schedule better, so we went to the Catholic Church near the Berkeley Campus, Newman Hall, (near where my son worked.) We did not know that it was a Very Popular event, and we were too late to get seats. It lasted three hours and included all seven readings and sung responsorials, with choir and orchestra, 6 immersion baptisms, and Dancers down the aisles representing the angels and the women who met at the tomb.

The whole happening is seared in my memory!
