Just spoke to the hospital, and she’s sleeping. What I know is that she has a bad lung infection that doesn’t respond well to antibiotics, they’re hoping they’ll not have to operate on her stomach, and her heart is all up and down the place. And she can’t hear much or see much.
So when (if) she gets out, she has to have an in-house oxygen system plus a tank.
As some of you know, we’re trying to get a fund going for her, we’ll just have to do it as a separate bit so we don’t mess up FR. Springfield Reformer is handling that end.
As for me, I’m sort of falling apart without her so I’ll just keep banging the phones. She can’t even hear my IP-phones, so it’s down to old landlines.

I sincerely appreciate the update Hardraade. I will keep both you and Mesta in my prayers. Please keep me advised. Am shaken with this news. Please tell Mesta how much all her FRiends miss her and love her. Mesta has been a true blessing.
Thank you for the update, Hardraade. Even if she never does anything on FR ever again, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is she gets well and lives life. I will pray more for her, and also for you to feel comfort and and peace in God’s hands.
Will she need oxy always or just for some time?
(There was or maybe still is, a vicious vicious virus this winter that infected many and caused very serious illness including lung infections. Maybe that’s what she had, I had it and a good friend had it very badly, everyone around here got it.)
It pains my heart to know of both of your sufferings.
