This is a prayer thread for Mesta. I've been on the phone with her for hours today/yesterday (my sense of time is getting a little frassled), and we need a great amount of prayer.
Mesta went down hard a few days ago, I was on the phone when it happened and I heard her hit the floor and scream, then a bunch of running, slamming doors and chaos before the line went dead.
It was a couple of days before I was able to get her status and got my proper links to her hospital, and it doesn't look good. If she survives this time, she's going home to a cold house, at the edge of eviction, dragging an oxygen tank. She has a sort of a seal-team medical coverage, but no pension whatsoever. As for now, they're still doing tests, there's a team of doctors working on her and she's in and out of consciousness much of the time.

Geez. Here’s the deal.
For the past three days, my nurse and my therapist have been unable to ‘hear’ a pulse using a stethoscope or by using their fingers on pulse points. Nothing.
What the doctor wants is a spinal tap to test my bone marrow because I don’t seem to be making enough blood and my own blood seems to be literally evaporating.
BP at dangerously low level...not exactly a good thing, but at least I know no vampires will be seeking me out any time soon. Silver lining to every dark cloud.
I will also receive two more units of whole blood to sustain me until they can figure out what is going on. So tomorrow, on to the ambulance and back to the hospital for what they say should only be about six hours, then home again with my nurse and a monitor.
I feel like Roseanne Rosanadana. It’s always something.
PLEASE keep praying. Please.

I don’t like the way that Obamacare co-pays have eaten away at what was supposed to be a very decent health insurance. Obamacare is simply another leftist way of stealing even what is nailed down.

Just the last post. Been pinging Mesta for hours, so they may have kept her overnight or she’s just blown out.
Still can’t raise her at home, and she’s not at the hospital.
