By doing that, the Illegals, if they choose to seek it, can get in line LEGALLY to become citizens. What if they don't want to be citizens, but just want to come here and pick tomatoes for half the year? Should we deny people who want to come here and work the ability to do so? If so, why?

1. They've committed all kinds of crime including, crossing the border illegally, ID Fraud, etc. that if you or I committed we'd be summarily thrown in jail.
2. They've been stealing from the taxpayers and are probably the main reason for the imbalance in budgets in States, Counties, and Cities in the United States, while taking jobs that Americans could have taken.
3. The Rule of Law???? 4. By allowing these leeches the ability to seek citizenship, you automatically start the process of the gradual death of the GOP and the party conservatives use right now to fight against the left.
I can't believe you asked that question on a Conservite website like FreeRepublic!

Should we deny people who want to come here and work the ability to do so? If so, why? Of course not.
There are probably no more than 2 or 3 billion who fall into that category.
Just let them come in, along with all of their relatives, and we can end the controversy.
