From gun broker, it looks like 7.62X39 is selling for around 40 cents a round.

I could probably spare some at that price.

“From gun broker, it looks like 7.62X39 is selling for around 40 cents a round.”

Monday I ordered 1000 rds Tula FMJ 7.62x39 from a reputable supplier and rec’d it Thursday (yesterday). I paid $280 incl shipping. I had requested they notify me when they got it in and they did so. They sold out quickly, but I got my order in before that happened. I have some other stuff for which I left requests for notification, and know they will honor that. And I LIKE 28 cents a round!

Guns were generally available, at prices only marginally higher than a year ago...except for the AR’s and the AK

Three weeks ago I saw the same thing at a local gunshow - they had what looked like a good supply - price was $400 per box of 1000 rds. I thought about buying a box, but decided not to do so. I did not see a big run on their stock at that price. And btw, for the most part there was very little ammo on sale at that show or at another I hit the same weekend. A year ago there was a lot of ammo - pistol, rifle, shotgun - on sale at that same show.
