Glenn Beck: 'I've lost faith,' time to 'surrender'

Says dying America is 'gurgling, we've got our hand on the wound'

Glenn Beck acts out a scene of rescuing a dying America during his broadcast Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Claiming that “America is hemorrhaging” and headed rapidly toward death, media giant Glenn Beck says he’s lost faith in many of the institutions that have made the U.S. such a great country, and it’s time to “surrender.”

“When the government says they can use drones and just kill us without a warrant or a trial, my gosh, America certainly is dead,” Beck said during his broadcast Tuesday night.

“I’ve lost faith in my government, I’ve lost faith in the media, in banking, the justice system, some of our big-city police departments … I think I just didn’t have faith in the DMV 15 years ago. Now I question everything. I don’t have faith in any of it.”

Can’t get enough Glenn Beck? WND has a complete section dedicated to his products in the WND Superstore.

But Beck said he realized he wasn’t “supposed to have faith in any of those things,” and proffered the tactic of surrender.

“I remember that surrender is an important way of winning. Surrender. You’re powerless over it. And you are. We’re powerless over anything that happens in Washington. And so what do you do? You try to make amends for the things that you’ve done wrong. You try to live differently. Take an inventory, and then you take control of the things you can and you work hardest on those.”

He continued: “Just as I don’t have faith in anything [I mentioned], my faith grows in my family, and in God. I raise my kids and make sure I’m listening as closely as

Republicans surrendered on Nov. 6th 2012..
Since the outcry on voter fraud has been pitiful..
You never hear of it anymore..

The voter fraud of 2012 is much more important than Bengazi.. or drones..
Voting has become worthless.. anything else is chump change..
The “COUP D’Etat” is COMPLETE... the junta is in charge...

Anything less than revolt (( IS )) surrender..

But there is no control over private corporations if they control education.

Huh? It is astounding how my people have no true understanding of Capitalism.

For decades government at all levels have been relentlessly attacking the market system. Apparently they have you believing government "must" be involved in our education.

The answer lies with understanding what true Capitalism brings to a free people.

I suggest you read Milton Friedman book, Free to Choose It is a great read.

If overnight all government schooling ended, free people would develop programs and schools that would deliver vastly superior education over anything ANY government system currently offers.

Over a short period of time, people would quickly "learn" which schools offer quality education. People would vote with their dollars.

Competition for consumer dollars would drive all schools in the marketplace to continue to deliver quality, else they go out of business.

Government schools with their systems of tenure, union infestation, idiotic school boards and numerous other Statist garbage have absolutely NO pressure to deliver quality.

Idiots like Bush43 offered up another wasteful Statist solution-- no Child Left Behind.

Governments control 90% of our K-12 educational system. The progressive teachings have been infesting our citizens since the late 1800s.

The sole purpose of government schooling is to prevent the teaching of critical thinking skills and to put the utmost effort into brainwashing students into believing the the government is the source of all good and that obedience to government is the duty of all.

Any one who believes that government should have any role in education is a devout enemy of Liberty.

Beck is a Morton Downey Jr. type guy who has discovered a formula and a style and a less than discriminating audience, that works for him.

If that be so, as a Catholic who is making every effort to get to know God and my faith better this Lent and beyond, SHAME on you Glen Beck.

The headline is very misleading.

He continued: “Just as I don’t have faith in anything [I mentioned], my faith grows in my family, and in God....

And he's absolutely correct about this:

I’m telling you to get your kids out of these schools. They’re indoctrination camps. They’re turning our kids against us. They’re turning our kids against all of the values that we ever held, they’re wounding them even further. There’s nothing more important than our kids. The concept that the individual is greater than the collective, and they are learning the exact opposite in school. Sadly, we have forgotten this.”

Word. Why would ANY conservative turn their child over to a public school? (Oh, MY school's different...yeah. Right.)

In the wee hours of this morning’s Fox First show today, they finally mentioned the German family who fled from Germany because the government was about to take their six children from them. They are evangelical Christians who were homeschooling. By law, all German children must attend government schools.

The American Homeschool Defense Association helped them come to the USA, and they live on a farm in TN. Now the Obama Reich is deporting them back to Germany, at the same time they are releasing thousands of Mexican illegals who have raped, murdered, sold drugs and smuggled other illegals into the country.

What are YOU going to do about helping this Christian family stay in once-free America?

I think Beck has lost audience share. I remember when this guy was riding high on TV. I haven’t seen him in what, two years?

Beck's network has a paid subscriber base of 300,000 people, more than the typical nightly audience of MSNBC. Subscribers pay $10/month to watch "The Blaze" on their computer, smartphone, or on TV through Roku.

He has taken this money and re-invested it into creating his own broadcast network, with 100% original programming. "The Blaze" is now on Direct TV, right along with Fox.

He is now waging a campaign to get his network on cable. His network deserves it, since his audience is greater than many channels on cable. The providers are reluctant, since "we already have Fox."

Do you want another conservative cable network? I sure do. The competition won't hurt. But more importantly, Beck's network is oriented around the Constitution, not the RINOcracy.

He has done more for the conservative cause in the last four years than anyone, including Sarah Palin.

After reading "Free to Choose," my friend and I started a school choice non-profit. We received a letter from Milton Friedman, wishing us "good luck in your endeavor."

I still have it... somewhere.

Don't hit me. I already slapped myself.

Grae, I think we’re just beginning to fight. There is a story in the Bible where Joshua is told to go to war, but when he takes his army out, God continually windows it down to a mere 300 who BELIEVE.

Beck went off the rails when he marched on DC to proclaim his undying obedience to MLK. Beck is a clown and nothing more!

That was Gideon not Joshua.

I’m Catholic & I’m waiting for Glenn Beck to open his Book of Mormon to tell us how a tribe of West Coast Israelites were ultimately wiped out by dark skinned Jewish Indians.

His pushing “Food Insurance” is a standard Mormon teaching.

Wonder just what Catholic doctrine failed to provide for Glenn that made him leave the Church.

And so Beck surrenders? This is pathetic and this is the apathy.

Surrender? To what Beck, to what?

More than I trust the Feds, and most school boards?
Walmart might not be as adamant about putting in pro-communist, and pro-fag material in the curriculum.

Glenn Beck’s message about doing an inventory, making amends for past wrongs and surrendering is reflective of something that all recovering addicts like he describes himself should do.

Those of us who are familiar with programs like Alcoholics Anonymous understand what Beck is saying.

I am an addict who has done those things and needs to continue doing those things if I am to remain sober.
