It's important to understand how extraordinary this is. Presidents typically try to secure major bipartisan deals in their fifth or sixth years, before their political capital ebbs. That's what Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan did, and George W. Bush tried on Social Security. Mr. Obama seems to think he can use the next two years mainly to set up a Pelosi House that would let him finish his last two years with a liberal bang.
The next time you hear Mr. Obama, House Democrats or one of their media acolytes talk about GOP "obstructionism," refer them to the Washington Post article that shows what they really intend for the current Congress. Bipartisan failure is their strategy.

Fill in the blanks, they are a universal pox on humanity and they come to power through various means, some legal, some quite beyond the law. But, once in power they never relinquish the reins voluntarily and they will use every bit of their power to advance their cause. We have never had such a leader. We have one now. What will we do?

(off-topic) I'm more concerned about something zero is doing under the radar. First, he got Congress to approve the military being able to patrol or be deployed within the continental U.S. Then, after Congress bought that one, he got permission for them to be able to arrest American citizens on American soil.
He has just asked Congress for permission for the military to kill American citizens on American soil! In conjunction with all the ammo he is buying, he is clearly planning something. There is some speculation that he is trying to monopolize the ammo markets to keep the ammo out of our hands.
Something sinister is up and we will have to wait for the next shoe to drop in this little charade.
Translation: The same election-fraud machine that gave Ubama his second term is set to wipe out every Republican in Congress.
