Jeb Bush Quietly Lays Campaign Groundwork Through Foundation (sigh!)
Buzzfeed ^ | Wednesday March 6, 2013

“The chatter is he's up to something,” says one Florida operative.

If Jeb Bush decides to convert his media tour into a presidential bid in a couple years, he won't have to look far for a campaign staff: The well-funded education foundation he runs out his office in a Miami hotel is stacked with former political operatives, a large communications team, and a rapidly growing staff whose work stretches into 40 states.

It is common practice for undeclared presidential candidates to build a campaign infrastructure under the guise of a political action committee, but Bush appears to be laying the groundwork for a potential campaign through his foundation, multiple Florida political strategists told BuzzFeed.

"The chatter is he's up to something," said Florida Democratic operative Christian Ulvert. "He has a robust staff and has positioned himself on policy issues. You can safely say his eyes are focused on some form of higher office."

If all the people saying “never” right now keep their word and let the GOP know it, starting now, there is a chance, albet small, we could have another GOP nom.
Respectfully, I disagree.

It's become patently obvious that the GOP-e would rather lose with one of their guys than win with a conservative. They don't want any more Reagans.

And quite frankly, all the money in the Republican party seems to love Jeb. I don't see any way he doesn't win the nomination. He's just too powerful.

You are totally correct. I was just trying to have a glimmer of hope. In total honesty the GOP has proved unworthy of respect or support and they cannot crash and burn fast enough for me.

Call it what you want. If Jeb Clampett Bush is the nominee, I’ll vote Hillary. We have already past the point of no return in this country. So, it really doesn’t matter. But I will NOT under any circumstance vote for another Bush. I held my nose and voted for Romney. I won’t vote RINO again. Period.

If Bush goes for the nomination and gets it, I’ll throw my hands in the air and quit.

I agree. Hopefully someone comes forward soon. If it’s up to me the skeletons in my closet will be a problem.

-— If we don’t all get behind a single conservative candidate it’ll be 2012 all over again in the primaries. ——

That’s the key.

We always lose because the monied interests line up early.

We need a couple of billionaires to pick one of ours early.

Are you out there? We need you!

yep they are, we’ll have a decent conservative who will look ti win the primary but then be attacked , only for us to be pushed for another RINO loser and then have the elitist GOP estbalishment north east, DC fools to be surprised they lost yet again.

This is why some of our primaries are open or let Dems change their party just before our primary.

Primaries should be for republicans, not libertarians to run on, not for non party, Dems and libertarians to vote in.
Republicans should vote and decide for the republican nominee, I know that;s a biazarre thought in DC and the north east establishment

We may hope he is not laying groundwork for a presidential run, but merely hawking a book. Which I shall not read, since spineless cowards, moral relativists and elitist ass’les are often liars too...
I would do all in my power to dissuade people from voting for Jeb Bush, or supporting any ticket he’s on.
He is not to be trusted to capture a stray dog on a back street in Camden New Jersey.

Sarah Palin did not endorse Romney until the day before the election and it was a weak endorsement at that. Hardly an “at the top of her lungs imploring conservative voters everywhere”

When he flip flopped on path to citizenship for illegals this was the obvious conclusion to draw.

Well it would be better than 300+ pounds of NJ RINO but still, yikes.

That's 1.

2. The Jeb Bush who backed Charlie Crist for years?

I will not waste my time enumerating the other 9,999 reasons I would not vote for him, again, for any public office.

We need to start NOW to build a groundswell for a true conservative candidate to battle the RINOs that are gearing up now.

The million dollar question is... of course... WHO?

Been disappointed by a lot of folks lately :-(

Thanks Impy. The best approach IMHO would be to have a few of the more flagrant RINOs (Jeb Bush is not in that category) switch parties *now*, and start soaking up those fundraising bucks for the POTUS primary season for the next three years, for a FRINO (former RINO) vs Pubbie 2016 general campaign.
