O'Reilly On Colorado Rep: "His life is about to take a turn for the worst"
Bill O'Reilly ^

Posted on 03/04/2013 1:22:10 PM PST by ConservativeMan55

Colorado is one of 7 states refusing to pass Jessica's Law. O'Reilly has helped get mandatory sentencing for child predators passed in the other 43 states.

Tonight O'Reilly will send a crew to confront Colorado House Speaker Mark Ferrandino — described by O'Reilly as a "villain" for killing Jessica's Law.

The law is named after Jessica Lunsford, a young Florida girl who was sexually battered and murdered in February 2005 by John Couey, a previously convicted sex offender. Public outrage over this case spurred Florida officials to introduce this legislation.

Among the key provisions of the law was classifying lewd or lascivious molestation on a person under the age of 12 as a life felony, and a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison.[2] and lifetime electronic monitoring[3] of adults convicted of lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim less than 12 years old.

The statute almost requires that if an offender is sentenced to a term of years, he or she must be given lifetime probation following the imprisonment. In Florida, another charge, capital sexual battery is defined as: A person 18 years of age or older who commits sexual battery upon, or in an attempt to commit sexual battery injures the sexual organs of, a person less than 12 years of age commits a capital felony. The charge carries a mandatory life sentence

Colorado.gov is worthless for finding out what is going on with today’s vote.

I just did a quick search and couldn’t find anything either. I’m sure if they had a vote today O’Reilly will mention it in his segment tonight.

Yeah, O’Reilly can be a blowhard, but I don’t expect to get conservative opinion from him, I expect middle-of-the-road opinion with both sides from him, and he gets a lot of things right, like the War On Christmas. It’s good that he’s taking the fight to these pedophile-enablers.

Yeah, BOR is so busy trying to prove that he's a right-wing patriot/communist, that his commentary is usually just empty blather.

The self-important boor just plain sucks.

Any .gov site is a maze to those who might actually need information. Deliberately so.

For any who think a law will keep Chester The Molester from his perverse behavior, ask yourself when laws kept murders from killing, bank robbers from robbing bans, speed limits kept speeders below the posted limit - you understand the pattern?

All those laws do is run up prison cost.

Those who refuse to abide by the basics of American life in a Constitutional Republic must be either killed or exiled. Long prison terms are too expensive.

Anyone or anything that is evil, the democrats side with. If God forbids it, they automatically are for it. To the left everyone in prison is innocent or has a good excuse for what they did and should not be punished (unless they are conservative/believe in God/believe in right and wrong). To the left all those enforcing good laws, making criminals pay for their crimes or expecting people to follow the law are evil. They follow satan and don't even know it.

Isn’t this ferrandino also the sponsor of a lot of very repressive gun-control legislation?

The down-side will be the divorcing wives who falsely accuse their husbands of abuse and molestation, and troubled teens who make similar false accusations for revenge of something-or-other. Facing a possible life penalty, even an innocent man may decide he has no choice but to plea bargain.
