A poster on Twitter, upon seeing what he thought were very similar posts referencing MSNBC host Rachel Maddow's show, did some searching and found out that Maddow has been using phony twitter accounts to boost her "mentions" on the popular website.
As can be seen by screenshots collected by a tweeter named @LeftyBollocks, Maddow has massive amount of accounts posting the exact same claim that "Confession: I yell at my TV while watching Rachel #Maddow talk about filibuster reform in the same way most people do during football."
With so many supposedly unique accounts mentioning her name, the term #Maddow has quickly risen to the top of trending topics on twitter-something @LeftyBollocks found odd since her show has so few viewers.
Proof that she has not figured out how to fake her ratings. She has more fake twitters than viewers. If her ratings ever approach her number of fake twitters we will know that she has figured out how to fake her ratings.
It’s certainly a lot easier to pay shills than to put the effort into checking facts (it’s pretty bad to be called out by The Nation) and making an honest show, or having to twist facts every day to suit their ideological agenda. But apparently doctoring audio and video is easy and fun and cheap too.
The show where she ran that four-second clip 100-plus times of Rubio drinking water must have been the highlight of her career and the show’s bottom line.
Ha, I don’t even get MSNBC here. I just see clips on Newsbusters once in a while. I’d bet more people see and hear MSNBC’s absurdities via Newsbusters, Rush Limbaugh, National Review, et al than actually watch the show.
You would think Raymond Mildew would try to bind her twits.

Interesting the bots all of sudden stopped posting her spam a few hours ago after the story started to break big. Maybe her fingers got tired or maybe it was a one day contract.

I always saw #Maddow trending on Twitter especially in the last couple of weeks, and was surprised since only like five people watch her show. This explains it.
There are plenty of crowd sourcing services out there where you can buy friends, followers, likes, mentions, and etc to bump up one's Twitter, Facebook, and etc.
Lefties do this all the time... they pose as many different people to make trends seem real, they pose on different conservative websites to start arguments and drive wedges, rather than have discussions.
Hell they vote more than once and they are extremely knowledgeable in driving web traffic. Republicans better get on the ball stop the stupid arguments and start marketing personalities and principles.
