Actually, that’s a misquote. What the Pope said was that though it sometimes seemed as though God was asleep, he always knew that God was there (paraphasing).

Galaxy or universe? I used to wonder where in the world Heaven could be. Then physicists came to my rescue with their Multiverse theories, though I'm sure they didn't mean to help any of us believers out. Heaven's got to be another universe, imo. Perfect, eternal, apart from any other, unlike any other. A Paradise universe... Yeah, like I said in another comment: I've got a lot to learn. To say the least.
