This is another infomercial for Obama aided by his MSM propaganda machine. Disgusting.
I think I have some. (looks in pocket, laughs) In response to keeping the government open, what's called a continuing resolution to keep government open, it's the right thing to do. If we stick to the CR deal, I will be supportive. The sequester cuts will stand until Congress stops it.
No questions from the press? what else is new? Not that they have any.

Obama says he thinks that there must be something he can do to convince some republicans that he doesn’t have horns growing out of his head, after spending fifteen minutes portraying all Republicans as having horns growing out of their heads.

BOL! The same here. We were out carousing last night, actually going to good high school play.
This morning I noticed:
Our home was still standing and our neighbors’s homes.
Our fishwrap had been delivered apparently without the delivery lady being shot, stabbed, raped, mugged or suffering a car jacking.
Some kids were walking by to their shool, and other were being NasCared by their mothers.
Our water, sewer, electicity, natural gas, cable tv, internet and phone systems were still working.
My trophy wife and her gene pool like to talk in the early morning. She uses our landline and her cell. Everyone in her gene pool was still safe and alive. She texted our grandkids, and they were on their way to schools which where still open. Their NasCar driver, our DIL, said the traffic lights worked and traffic to and from the school. She and the kids had no problem. When, she got home her, I phone worked.
Our adult sons drove trucks or rode their bikes to their real work places with zero problems and everything is working including them and their work staff.
My wife said the local tv stations which make a cat in a tree a major story, had no disasters to show.
Obviously the Seq bs has really impacted us.
I hope our despicable, Communist, POS, POTUS gets terminal cancer right now! FUBO!!!!!

Medicare may be the problem but it the only program besides SS that has been funded out of out paychecks for over 50 years and where money has been used to pay for other government functions annually. It’s a damn kitty...and that’s whast Obamacare wil. be, too.
I'm not a dictator (pauses, smiles, reporters laugh). I can only make the best possible case to the Repubs but it's a choice they make. The idea that there's a secret formula is wrong. If there was a secret way to do it I would have done it. I can only offer to compromise and I will continue to do so but I can't order Congress to do the right thing. This means putting the middle class first even after these cuts.

That is NOT the reason why the entitlement programs are unsustainable. They have actuarial problems associated with an aging society. When the average Medicare recipient receives three times in benefits than they made in contributions, you cannot sustain such a system. You need to cut benefits or raise taxes or a combination of both.

Holy Oreo. oh please, grampa Dave. I can’t take anymore..and neither can my dog who is worried about my howls of laffter.
Good thing 170 million people lost their jobs and will all be home watching this.
Obama: teachers at military schools may have to be furlowed one day a week because of the Sequester. Government contractors may have to take a 10% pay cut and then go home and explain it to their families. Poor people will have to cope with an end to child care while they try to keep their jobs. The accumulation of all these stories will hurt the economy and hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost. Starting tomorrow, everyone here, all the janitors here at the Capitol will get a pay cut. That’s real. I want to be very clear — this is not a fake crisis. People are foing to be hurt, as will the economy. Joblessness will not drop as quickly as it might have.
O.K., now he’s preempting The Young & The Restless. I’d rather watch the chicks on that, with the sound turned down, than this babbling idiot!
