I decided to take the train to my sister's tomorrow, it's cheap and very comfortable. It's a 240 mile trip, 4 1/2 hours, so I'll have plenty of time to do some crossword puzzles!

Rain is still keeping us from getting the ball fields ready, but spring is around the corner.

Man this coffee tastes good...

You lucky...guy...hehe...you get a 4-day weekend AND a train trip too. Only been on one train trip, but I loved it. Course, we got sleepers from Chicago to California. Trying to talk hubby in going on the Vermonter this fall for our 25th anniversary. But with money being tight now that the government has taken more of it...

We are having some sunshine this morning...and a taste of spring. Getting ready for a walk.

Although, starting in May I’m going to leave one hour earlier on Fridays until fall, or my leave runs out. LOL

Going OK now that the Internet is back on.

I don't know if you read my post from yesterday but Our ISP, Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Kingfisher OK had their Internet servers break down Monday night due to the generator breaking down. The techs were not able to safely reach the generators due to the Blizzard and the treacherous road conditions Monday night. Pioneer has generators which power a number of their facilities through power outages.

Still a number of school districts in Northwest Oklahoma closed today. They're still digging out from the blizzard.

Had a great visit from my sister from the city yesterday. Enjoyed time with Bo at the lake. Today's forecast to be nice with highs in the 50's.

It’s pretty breezy here, too, and cooler than yesterday. Up and down, up and down...these temps are making everyone sick! Especially when the wind stirs up allergens. Ugh!
