Scarborough: Ted Cruz Acting 'Like Carnival Barker'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

The trashing of Ted Cruz continues apace in the bien-pensant MSM. From the New York Times, to the Washington Post, to Politico and elsewhere, the liberal media has the new Republican Senator from Texas in its sights.

Joe Scarborough is clearly camped out on the Cruz-bashing bandwagon. Earlier this month, so offended was the sensitive Scarborough by Cruz that he wouldn't deign to mention him by name. Today, not to be outdone by Frank Bruni, who called Cruz "an ornery, swaggering piece of work," Scarborough declared that Cruz acts like "a carnival barker at a Republican event."

With a little time and work, they will make him conform to the national socialist dictatorship or he will be gone.

As long as Ted Cruz stays loyal to the people of Texas that elected him, he will be Senator for as long as he wants to be our Senator from Texas.

The media does not like Senator Cruz. The media is horrified of the concept of a President Cruz. This is what this is all about.

“New York Times, to the Washington Post, to Politico and elsewhere, the liberal media”

Yep, catching flak from all the right places, so you know Cruz is over the target.

Stay strong, Ted.

The GOP needs many more fearless attack dogs like Sens. Cruz and Paul.

The more there are, the harder it will be to target and bring down one at a time.

It would be great to have a couple dozen or more tag teaming each other.

Say, Joe...I got yer "carnival" hangin' right heah, pal. (Heh, heh...heh, heh)

And while we're on the subject of "respect," how are we supposed to respect the likes of Al Franken or Barbara Boxer? Seriously.

It's like being asked to "respect" 200 lb. steaming piles of dung. Just because a 200 lb. pile of dung calls itself "Senator" doesn't mean I'm automatically bound to "respect" said pile. Sheesh.

Joe went to the ‘dark side’ a long time ago, in order to be accepted by his media friends.

"The media is horrified of the concept of a President Cruz."

I just took a quit looksee at your Senator. Not that any sane person would want to be President after the Obama devastation, but if Cruz has a sense of humor..he could win it all.

That and he needs the support of libertarian leaning Rand Paul or Sarah Palin to shake the severely damaged "R" label.

"R" just means Dem puppet/sell-out to me now.

Exactly the type of leadership I support. Don’t let these ‘Progressives’ make cowards of us. Go, Ted, Go!
