I wasn’t aware of it either.

Until there is credible evidence to the contrary the evidence therein speaks for itself. Most of the incidents never took place on PSU campus, and after the 2001 incident, there was no further incident on PSU campus — that we know of.

With the possible exception of the 2004 molestation in the Lasch Buiding (the football building).

‘Joe was JUST a guilty by not knowing WHAT his TOADIES were doing!’

Wow!!! That’s not a slippery slope, that is a full-on downhill plunge!

Which makes the claim of that alleged victim, who never testified before the Grand Jury but waited until all the facts of the case had been made public, highly questionable.

‘do the bare minimum of reporting it up the chain’

Pa state law at the time required Paterno to report the abuse to his superior at Pa State. Being an employee of a state govt. funded instution, he was not allowed to report the abuse outside of this structure.

But what’s the law got to do with this? We all know what should have been done.

This needs to be stated again and again for the benefit of those who keep asking the same questions again and again and making the same accusations again and again.

<>The PSU Police turned over only one of the two profiles to Children’s Youth Services. I’ll let you guess which one.<>

That’s not what the police report says or anyone else with credibility attached to the 1998 investigation:

Really? What section of the law did not “allow” Paterno to report this to the actual Police rather than the guy nominally in charge of the campus police?

What went on there was SICK. Everyone knew there were multiple reports of Sandusky abusing boys, and yet they did nothing for a decade while he continued taking boy after boy through the facilities, to away games, to banquets.

What kind of a so called man could see that year after year and do nothing?

That’s not what the facts show. Where is all this alleged abuse at PSU facilities???

Chronological Chart of Sandusky’s Abuse from the 2010 Grand Jury Presentment:

•Victim 10 – Abused 1997-1999 in pool and Sandusky’s home
•Victim 4 - Abused 1998-2000 in various locations.
•Victim 6 - Single shower incident 1998.
•Victim 5 - Single shower incident 1998.
•Victim 3 - Abused 2000 at Sandusky home & in shower.
•Victim 8 - Abused PSU shower 2000, Victim has not been identified, only by hearsay witness.
•Victim 2 – Abused PSU shower 2001 - witnessed by McQueary – reported by PSU officials, who reported it to Second Mile.

(Four years of apparent stop of abuse.)

•Aaron Fisher (Victim 1) – Abused 2005-2008 at Sandusky’s home & CMHS.
•Victim 9 – Abused 2006-2009 at Sandusky’s home

So Sandusky stopped taking boys to away games, around the facilities, and to Pedo State football banquets after 2000?

Or he just stopped abusing them?

And what law supposedly stopped Paterno from reporting this to the actual Police?

The report states that Sandusky had access to the Lasch Building until November 2011. Over the next ten-year period, Sandusky “was frequently at the Lasch Building working out, showing up at campus events that Penn State supported...He was showering with young boys, staying in dormitories...There are more red flags than you could count, over a long period of time.”[98] Consequently, out of the 10 young boys that Sandusky would be convicted of sexually assaulting, most of them were abused after he was investigated in 1998[107] — at least five of them were assaulted “at Penn State’s football facilities and other places on campus after May 1998”

And what law supposedly stopped Paterno from reporting this to the actual Police?

The laws of the Quaker state and the contracts that everyone signs with the University.

And as far as the "actual Police", the PSUPD are the actual Police on the Penn State campus. There is no other.

The report states that Sandusky had access to the Lasch Building until November 2011.

Once again another Freeh half truth. He did personally have access but not accompanied by children. That privilege of bringing children there ended in 2001. He was told not to bring children there anymore by both his charity and Penn State officials -- and the Grand Jury presentment shows that he didn't.

Compare the facts put forth by the Grand Jury with the Freeh Report and you will see the Freeh half truths and lies and exaggerations.

Can you cite the relevant law?

The campus police are glorified rent a cops; and no wonder Sandusky abused children on Pedo State Campus - he knew they had his back as far as not reporting it to the actual Police.

Paterno did the bare minimum required by law, if that - as Schultz wasn't actually the Police - he oversaw the campus police. Sort of like if you had to report something to the Police but you told the deputy mayor, because the deputy mayor oversaw the Police.

The bare minimum required by law, vs your insistence that Paterno did the maximum allowed under the law. Cite the law.

And BTW Pennsylvania Law limited its Child Abuse Hotline to the Department of Public Welfare to only those having custodial care of a child: parents, teachers, physicians, psychologists, the people at 2nd Mile Charity.

That law excluded officials at PSU from that hotline because they were not so charged. The child was not under their care.

But given the fact that members of the board and the director of the 2nd Mile Charity were notified of Sandusky's shower incident, and they were in charge of the care of that child, it was incumbent upon the 2nd Mile people to call the Hotline and involve DPW. But they didn't, and Freeh in his normal cover-up fashion just whitewashes over all of this.

Wow, Pennsylvania has some messed up backwards law according to you. And one can only report child abuse through a “Hotline”? I guess if you are a simpleton who cares more about football than the welfare of children you see for over ten years in the company of a known pedophile.

Can you cite the relevant laws, your are up to at least two now?

So no you cannot cite it. You Paterno sycophants defend him with the same disregard for the truth and human decency that he and the powers that be at Pedo State defended Sandusky. Sick.
