NEW YORK — NFL greats Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Michael Irvin, LaDainian Tomlinson and Marshall Faulk are appearing in a public service announcement in favor of gun law reforms. I wouldn’t know, not being their accountant and all, but based on appearance, probably. And I am certain that anyone who believes in gun control must be brain damaged....

"Not to be undiplomatic or cruel, but isn’t it a major issue right now about NFL players BRAIN DAMAGE? So why should we take their opinions seriously. Athletes and actors are not at the peak of the intelligence pyramid."

Sounds like a good reason to disarm these guys anyway. ;-)

Besides sports, what do these 5 men have in common?
(cue tune from jeopardy)

They are in effect saying that the black population can't be trusted with freedom of choice when it comes to firearms.

NFL == National Felons League. So much brain damage from playing football that they are too stupid to recognize God given freedoms. The move to strip 2nd amendment rights based on mental health may put them on the top of the list.

As intelligent representatives of “gun control”, they.......are all once-great football players. ‘Nuff said.

No sh!t.

Eff the five of them.

Why don’t they go back to their fabled blankety-blank ‘community’ and set about disarming the blankety-blank trash there??

And they want to take my guns? F OFF!!

Ugh...Deion Sanders? I like Deion; he makes postgame analysis a lot of fun. Disappointing.

Is Michael Irvin still posing for queer magazines?

NFL greats Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Michael Irvin, LaDainian Tomlinson and Marshall Faulk...

Really? Well, I guess we better listen to a bunch of retired pigskin pros.

Piss off "Mayors"....as far as I am concerned, ALL of you and your "celebrity" know it alls are full of smug arrogance.

You're not convincing me, and you sure as hell aren't going to convince your urban population. The thugs won't back you...and neither will the law abiding citizens.

Tell ya whoat, Emmitt, Deion, Michael, LaDainian and Marshall: why don't YOU GUYS go live where there aren't gates and guards to protect you...YOU know, like 90% of your "fans" live.

Then maybe you morons will change your tunes.

EMMITT SMITH'S HOUSE IN DALLAS IS HERE. DO YOU THINK HE HAS ANY ARMED PROTECTION FOR THIS MANSION? I DO.

DEION SANDER'S HOUSE IN PROSPER, TEXAS IS HERE. DO YOU THINK HE HAS ANY ARMED PROTECTION FOR THIS MANSION? I DO.

MICHAEL IRVIN'S HOUSE IN PLANO, TEXAS IS HERE. DO YOU THINK HE HAS ANY ARMED PROTECTION FOR THIS MANSION? I DO.

LADAINIAN TOMLINSON'S HOUSE IN POWAY, CALIFORNIA IS HERE. DO YOU THINK HE HAS ANY ARMED PROTECTION FOR THIS MANSION? I DO.

MARSHALL FAULK'S HOUSE IN RANCHO SANTA FE, CALIFORNIA IS HERE. DO YOU THINK HE HAS ANY ARMED PROTECTION FOR THIS MANSION? I DO.

The upper 1% of America, the Obama-supporting 1% have mansions and homes to retreat into...and have armed protection...as much as they desire.

Now they DARE to tell US what kind of guns or ammo we can own?

Shove it, Obama Cult.

I seem to recall the reason the NFL used for keeping Rush Limbaugh out of NFL team ownership was because they needed to keep politics out of the NFL...

Sounds like they’ve decided that the only politics allowed are leftist politics. I hope the NFL gets legislated out of business: It wont matter a bit to me, since hearing this, I’ve watched my last game, and bought my last NFL licensed product.

Maybe the reason these “greats” agreed to do an anti-gun propaganda spot (I’m not about to call it a “public service announcement”) is that brain damage we keep hearing about...

“gun law reforms”

...new term. It means “gun control” has a bad taste, so, as usual, the media is renaming it.

1994 - WHITE on WHITE = 1,178 homicides
1994 - WHITE on ALL GROUPS = 1,386 homicides

-

1994 actual homicides with population = 260 million:

Whites & Hispanics (combined)= 219 million x 3.22 homicides per 100k = 7,056 homicides
3.22/100,000 homicides

WHITES = 198 million x 0.7 homicides per 100,000 Homicides (by Whites Only) = 1,386 homicides = 20% of White and Hispanic homicides
.7/100,000 homicides

HISPANICS = 21 million x 27 homicides per 100,000 Hispanics = 5,670 homicides = 80% of White and Hispanic homicides
27/100,000 homicides

BLACKS = 31 million x 52 homicides per 100,000 Blacks = 16,120 homicides
52/100,000 homicides

"OTHERS" = 10 million x 1.24 homicides per Other = 124 homicides
1.24/100,000 homicides

These are Official 1994 US GOVERNMENT CRIME STATISTICS DURING THE SLICK WILLIE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION with US Department of Justice Attorney General Janet Reno and FBI Director Louis Freeh providing this information for publication -

the Colts have never beaten the Steelers in a playoff game. Congratulations, Indy.

Well, that is true. Of course the Steelers had a streak where they made they playoffs just once in 39 years, while the Colts, who were around for only about 1/2 of those 39 years, went to the NFL Championship game five times during the same period. You won't lose many playoff games if you never make the playoffs.

And do not give any BS about Indy being an expansion franchise that dates back only 30 years.

Not the least bit interested in what happened in the NFL before the Merger. Although I can see why you would be because the Colts have been one of worst bunch if chokers in professional sports since then, including one of the most humiliating losses in the history of the NFL.

What was the line in Superbowl III? 18 points? Although I doubt hat was a choke. More likely some of Joe Willies Bachelors III clients bought themselves a few Colts.

Ummm, actually I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, not a Colts fan. Although the earliest memory I have of any event that I can date, except for Birthdays, and Christmas, is Super Bowl V, January 17, 1971. I remember being struck by the fact that the Colts had a horse shoe on their helmets, and assumed that the Cowboys would tame the horses.

Of course they did not.

But hey, Jerry Jones looks like he may live for many years, so the Steelers will have many opportunities to win more Super Bowls before the Cowboys do, so you have reason to be optimistic, and I don't.

Given the history of management/ownership retaining Steeler coaches — which means Mike Tomlin is in until the middle of the 22nd century — and given that the only decent coach on the staff, Dick LeBeau, will retire any minute now, I really have no more reason to be optimistic than you...
