Jesse Jackson Jr. Signs Plea Deal In Federal Probe
NBC Chicago ^ | 2-8-13 | Mary Ann Ahren

Posted on 02/08/2013 9:44:37 AM PST by bigbob

It’s been nearly three months since Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned from Congress, but now NBC News confirms that Jackson has signed papers in a plea deal within the past several days. Jackson’s case is being handled by the US Attorney’s office in Washington DC. While no public announcement is expected today, those with knowledge of the investigation believe the loose ends now deal with Jackson’s wife, former Alderman Sandi Jackson, and whether or not she is ultimately charged. Under the terms of the deal Jackson signed, he pleads guilty and his fate – as to jail time – would be in the hands of a federal judge, not yet assigned. He would repay the government hundreds of thousands of dollars – for items like the $40,000 Rolex watch, travel expenses for a woman he described as a “social acquaintance” and furniture purchased for his home. Converting campaign contributions for personal use is strictly prohibited by federal law. It opens Jackson up to “not more than 5 years” in prison.

Repay the gov’t “hundreds of thousands of dollars”.

There is something wrong when a member of Congress acquires “hundreds of thousands of dollars” while in office.

Or when a President leaves office a millionaire.

Or when a President leaves office a millionaire.

Unless he entered office as a billionaire.

Guaranteed! He will do no jail time or else he wouldn’t have signed it. If he doesn’t that proves there are ‘two Americas’ one for the politicians (& cronies) and one for the rest of us.

I’m to believe they found an even stupider Jesse Jackson? Astounding.

Political public servants should be term limited according to their net worth. Once they make their first million as a politician, they should be required to resign from government.

He won’t do one single day of jail time.

Of course not, that would be racist.

The most he’ll get is probation and a fine. If JJ Jr got even so much as one day in jail, his daddy would be all over that judge like Rosie O’Donnell on a toilet seat.

Will that be “Goodfella’s” prison time or “Office Space” prison time?

Nearly every dmned one of the congresscritters is a crook or blackmailable. Washington is a cesspool. Democrats are the bottom feeders.

Just curious, but could Jesse Jackson, Jr. be sent the same prison as ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-IL)? Rod would like a cellmate to share his life behind bars. What a twofer — two IL Donkeys in the same cell. Priceless.

Democrats are the bottom feeders.

When you "drain the swamp" like Nancy did, that's all that's left

He spent campaign funds for a $40,000 Rolex watch. That is something that a pimp like him needs. I wonder if he has a red Cadillac Eldorado with white interior and wire wheels.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! As we chronicled in the documentary, HILLARY! UNCENSORED, the witch committed the biggest campaign finance fraud in history, illegally directed in kind contributions of 1.5 mil, made four false reports to the FEC, lied in a sworn affadavit, and all that happened was the campaign was fined 35K.
