Helicopters Search Big Bear For Ex-Cop Triple-Murder Suspect
Village News ^ | 8 February 2013

RIVERSIDE - Three law enforcement helicopters flew above the Big Bear area tonight in search of the fired Los Angeles Police Department officer suspected in the revenge slayings of a college basketball coach and her finance in Irvine and the early morning ambush killing of a Riverside police officer. The truck belonging to Christopher Jordan Dorner was found burning just off a forest road in the area late today, authorities said.

All the areas where someone could have walked away from the truck were being searched by ground, Cindy Bachman of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said at a 9 p.m. news conference. "I'm not aware of any evidence found near the truck, nor am I aware of any explosives," Bachman said. Bachman said she was not aware of any vehicle having been stolen since the burned out truck was discovered.

Deputies have gone to about half of the 400 vacation homes in the area and there were no signs of forced entry at any of them, Bachman said.

Being a left-winger, and supportive of gun control and other such foolishness, indicates that he is not smart enough to have well thought out his actions, and is instead relying on experience and luck.

Leftists are certainly fools, but they're also very cunning. Just look at the hundred years of planning and dedication it's taken for them to destroy the United States.

I get the impression this madman's been planning this out since the day he lost he job. If that's the case, it's going to be a long, bloody ordeal.

A strong candidate for the target of America's first domestic drone strike is quickly emerging here.

Justify? No. Explain? Yes.

“If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for the law: it invites every man to become a law unto himself, it invites anarchy.” SCOTUS Justice Louis D,. Brandeis.

The guy is an affirmative action ticking timebomb, and it was just a matter of time before he snapped.

You’re probably right. Only God and those directly involved know for sure.

it doesn't justify unlawful killing, does it?

No, and that's supposed to go both ways. Recall the photo of that blue pickup truck yesterday. It was two Asian ladies delivering papers, not a 270-pound black guy. That's too perfect of a mismatch to believe, but that didn't slow them down one step. That truck wasn't just shot at, it was "bullet-ridden" per MSM articles. That makes me think that the LAPD has never had any intention whatsoever of taking this guy alive under any circumstances, or the officers are poorly trained in firearms use, or the officers are trigger-happy, and that's a little worrisome.

"2. I wonder if his grievances just may be legitimate."

I think he's just plain crazy.

And, as was the case with Major Hasan, everyone knew he was crazy and and a danger to himself and to others, but rampant political correctness prevented anyone from even thinking about doing anything about it.

Yeah, I suspect that in his mind the grievances are legit. That is true with most crazy people, no matter how absurd the position may be to a sane person.

I find that, though I may find a person’s actions abhorrent, I also find myself, immediately on hearing of things like this, wondering if their complaint is legitimate, even though it does not justify their actions.

I remember the first thing I thought when I heard about McVeigh bombing the BATF headquarters on the anniversary of Waco: Well, at least the guy picked a military target. I didn’t side with him, but my reaction was different than it would have been if he had blown up a shopping mall.

This killer is LEFT WING, of course, praising all of the left wing media by name!! Crickets...

The lack of outrage in the media over the cops shooting up the vehicles of innocent people just because they look like the ones the suspect is driving is also curious.

Someone on another thread indicated radio communications indicated military helicopters from Homeland Security were also being used.

Hussein is probably itching to bring in a drone; he can use this as justification to fly them over America and the ground has already been broken when he starts using them to kill his enemies.

He would be a fool to remain in the wilderness. Like you said, he probably switched to a bike. With helmet and gloves he would be anonymous. Go a few hundred miles and he will be outside the search area. He probably has a dozen buddies willing to give him shelter.

They’d have seen the motorcycle tracks, and if that were the case, they wouldn’t be talking about searching all the places he could have reached on foot. They said they found his tracks, so they must have been foot tracks if they are focusing the search like that.

I think the way they will know they found him, is when the officer on point gets shot.

He's a black cop killer. The LAPD will not risk an OJ verdict.

I wonder if there are snipers on the helos. There was a case a few years back I think in Alaska or the northwest where a survivalist had gone nuts and killing folks and he got into a fire fight with snipers on a police helo. One of the helo snipers was shot and killed the other made a phenomenal shot from the helo to hit the perp.

I agree with this.

Of course, the Big Bear Lake area is developed and well paved, so the foot tracks probably ran out pretty quickly.
