A majority of American voters want the Boy Scouts to lift its ban against gay members and leaders, a new Quinnipiac poll finds.
The Boy Scouts of America announced last week that it was considering changing its policy of banning gay scouts and troop leaders. On Wednesday the organization said that decision would be delayed until a national meeting in May.
In the Quinnipiac poll, 55 percent of respondents said the scouts should drop the ban, while 33 percent said it should remain.
There is a significant gender gap in the results. Women back gay scouts by a 61 to 27 percent margin; among men it’s a narrower 49 to 39 percent margin.
Catholics are also far more likely than Protestants to support the inclusion of gay scouts.

A young man at age 10/12 is not sure of anything ,and poses no harm to anyone; but a scout leader ,who is a grown man that is gay is likley looking to prey on young targets that are very vulnerable.Not a good idea!

Here is the problem with openly gay scouts. How about a gay seventeen year old junior leader sleeping in a tent in the woods with a twelve year old boy. A Seventeen year old is still a BOY and he is also in the very middle of puberty when he is most sexually confused and interested in experimenting.
The militant homosexual movement will not be happy until everyone not only accepts and loves their perversions, but is required to participate and serve up our children to them like they are some sort of delicacy at a buffet.

I don't believe any poll by Quinnipiac. In fact I would highly suggest that you reverse the poll results and you would have a more realistic view of the actual results.
Secondly I would love to see what the actual poll questions were, and would be willing to be the questions were phrased in such a way, to get the results they were after.

Of course they do. They have scene it work for all their evil policies. Look at the Lawrence v. Texas case. READ Scalia’s opinion for the minority. He stated that it would lead directly to gay marriage, law suites against private organizations and open a nasty can of worms. All because evil knows no bounds and has no limits.

For the last few years I have had an automatic Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) payroll deduction of over $1000.00 a year to the Boy Scouts. I chose the Boy Scouts because they were standing up to the gay Nazis. Now that they no longer stand by those principles my contribution will end this month. I hate to punish the boys of decent parents but I just can’t support them anymore.
Here’s what ends up happening...after they declare open season for gays in the scouts.
There’s going to be some eleven-year old kid who comes up to join a troop and immediately identify himself as bi.
This will freak the scout master out a bit...who will start to worry about camp-outs and comments by other parents over who can sleep in this kid’s tent.
But somewhere along the way...some idiot is going to report this in school, and then someone will ask who exactly the kid is partnering up with. And this bucket of worms start to open up where suddenly you got eleven year old girls doing it, and a number of eleven year old boys.
Cops get called then, and accusations fly left and right. It’s one thing for a sixteen year old to claim “status”, but for eleven or twelve year olds? Nope....the authorities will get all over this, and some judge will have to sort out truths and half-truths.
The scouts? It’ll be a Doctor Phil episode every single day, which have boy scouts wanting female uniforms, then in-depth discussions over sexual activity, which will really worry parents in various troops, and various claims of sexual assault or rape during camp-outs.
If you ask me...it only creates a bigger mess in the end.
where, when, whom and how was this goofy poll conducted? I for one a former boy scout do not support this pop-in-jay ideological stance for gays in BSA. No way no how. The faggots can go to hell.

Did not penn State University have a massive fallout because of a sports coach (football) had allegations and convictions against him for having inappropriate relations with Boys? What about the Catholic Church Dioceses throughout the USA and the payouts by the Church caused for dioceses to sell off large parcels of land and buildings?

That questions goes both ways. The advocates for acceptance and now promotion of homosexuality were in the minority at one time.
