GLASTONBURY — A 61-year-old man with an "Impeach Obama" bumper sticker on his vehicle was arrested Friday after he used a baseball bat to bash the trunk of another motorist who had given him the finger, police said.
Paul V. Guaschino, of 1149 E. Middle Turnpike in Manchester, followed the motorist who "apparently did not like the bumper sticker and displayed his dislike by showing his middle finger to Guaschino," police said.

A good response would be to make a LARGE sign of the cross, the way a priest would, toward the ‘Obamaniac’ driver. That would have gotten him even more upset and Mr. Guaschimo would have avoided arrest.
As I am not Roman Catholic, I do not know if that is wrong under your faith. If so, please forgive my suggestion. I do know however, that such action sends some poor drivers (and most lefties) into a much higher orbit!
What really pushed him over the edge was not the middle finger, but the Prius.
I have a (FUBO) sticker on my pick up.
I’m just telling ya,
Don’t bring a ball bat to a gun fight.
I have a CCW
Where can I buy one?!?!?
It works best to just laugh at those you pi$$ off.
Makes ‘em madder!

Ill pray for you. I think life would be tough believing that feeling insulted requires damaging property, and the only reason you dont respond with a physical attack on the person is fear of being sued,”
Thank you, I believe prayer to God of heaven is always good. However you make assumptions about my beliefs based on a couple of sentences, assumptions that are inaccurate. Thanks for the prayers however.
I made no assumption about your religious beliefs.
I was concerned by your belief (idea, concept, etc) that the appropriate response to feeling insulted was damaging property, and the reason for not physically attacking was a concern of being sued.
To start with, you don’t know what I’m feeling or if my feelings would be hurt under such circumstances. This making things up on your part is called magical thinking. Because you think it, it must be true. In fact, it’s not true.
Secondly, who says that consequences should be proportionate? Is this some weird law you’ve invented?
Thirdly, this isn’t about damage done. You have no clue what’s really going on, and I would suggest that you get a clue but I don’t think you can. Spiritually dead folks can’t get a clue.
Never know who you might be able to get to sign it.
Exodus 21:24
You commit a single sin against God and the sentence is death. You lie, steal, think about lying, think about stealing and the sentence is death. The only thing that saves us is the Grace of God. Forgiveness given by Him. People think that a punch in the nose is too severe for an insult given? They have no idea of what is coming. We do them no favors by pretending that there is no justice and only a legal system where people can buy their way out.
Equating insults to each other with insults to God seems quite a stretch.
I don’t find a physical attack an appropriate response to a hand gesture. You apparently do.
We at least agree on God’s Grace the only source of salvation.
God’s Peace be with you.
John 14:27
and God's Peace also with you.
In my old neighborhood the standard response was “Is that your IQ or your sperm count”
Don’t be in a hurry to leave. God likely isn’t through with either one of us yet.
Over the last few years I’ve found John 16:33 to be most fitting in my life. To some it may not be uplifting, just a promise of problems. But as you understand, it doesn’t end here on earth.
Thank you for conversation and God’s Peace
Numbers 6:24-26
You have no clue whats really going on, and I would suggest that you get a clue but I dont think you can. Spiritually dead folks cant get a clue.

Oh i’ve got a clue all right. Your later words on this thread make it abundantly clear. But you’re right, I missed it the first time.
Connecticut is becoming *Crazyville.* Word.
That’ll learn the Obamanoid! Good use for a bat during off-season.
To be fair...an extended middle finger or the ‘f’ word is one of the prime ways many New Englanders communicate, and they are at a loss without those options. It’s like ‘bless your heart’ down south. :-)
I grew up in a very, very gentile community. E.g., at a 4-way stop, drivers would ignore the rule *guy-on-the-left-goes-first*, and you'd sit there *forever*....waving....*you go first....no, you go, first....no,no ...you go now* and at the butcher/deli counter....it was almost always ...*you're before me.... no, you can go, I'm sure I'm after you*..... the only time this politeness is broken was by some tourist...who has no clue of the strange custom of a small town.
I've lamented on threads, that since Obama's first 4-year regime, people are on edge.....the polite has gone the way of *ME FIRST* ...it seems to be the way of a permanent road-rage in most situations....to the point where I am never-never not carrying. People here have gone bat-sh!t cra-cra. :(
I'm still reeling from PTSD post 2012 November. How *he* got re-elected is unfathomable!
