Muslim Patrols Could Become More Prevalent And More Violent, Warns Anti-Extremist Muslim patrols stalking British streets could become “a lot more dangerous” and perhaps even willing to maim or kill, the head of an anti-extremism organisation has warned.
By Rosa Silverman 30 Jan 2013 As British jihadists venture abroad to capitalise on the aftermath of the Arab Spring and then return to the UK, they are likely to bring a greater level of violence back home, Maajid Nawaz, the chairman of the Quilliam Foundation, suggested.
His comments follow incidents in which groups of Muslim vigilantes, dubbing themselves 'Muslim Patrols' have approached Londoners and demanded they behave in an Islamic way by not drinking.
They have also told women to put more clothes on, claiming they are entering 'Muslim areas'.
Their actions could be “a sign of things to come” and are part of a pattern of extremism spreading across Europe in different forms, be it far right fascism or Islamism, Mr Nawaz said.
Writing in The Times, he said: “While this street-level problem festers across Europe, al-Qaeda and its affiliates are busy capitalising on the chaos of the post-Arab Spring world.
“Syria, Libya, Mali and Somalia are being ravaged by jihadist outfits, and all of them are attracting European-born Islamists seeking the thrill of real combat…
“Scores of young European-born Arabs and Somalis are following in the footsteps of British Pakistanis in travelling to lawless conflict zones. “What happens when these men, schooled in the use of political violence in far-flung places, return to Britain?”

Because to do otherwise would publicly belie Britain's sanctimonious pretense of moral superiority over us American bumpkins, who do not consider willing submission to Islam's cultural imperialism to be a sign of enlightenment.

Such an incident never happened. NO group is more controlled by huge police numbers as a football crowd (and Leeds are notorious for hooliganism btw, which is another reason why this story is bunkum), the British police will be there at the train/bus station or car parks when fans arrive and they will corral them and march them to the stadium, then the same back after the game.
The idea that UK police would allow a football crowd to wander freely is nonsense, and the idea that they would ‘deliver’ them into a group of Muslims is even more nonsense.
Also, if there is a football game on, NO political march would be allowed in the same city or town, due both to the police numbers needed and the potential for violence.

I think that was a mangled reporting of a UKIP rally.
The Muzzies counter protested (and, according to what I have heard, were violent throwing bottles and whatnot). But the cops busted up the UKIP (which had the required permits, etc), not the Muzzies.
UKIP is a major political party.

Britain (mainland) banned assault rifles in 1988, and handguns in 1997. In Northern Ireland, assault rifles are illegal, but handguns are legal as is a form of concealed carry.
Rifles and shotguns are legal all over the UK.
There are 930000 shotgun and rifle permits for 2.3 million guns.

Well, they’re better than the Tories (Labor doesn’t even get a dishonorable mention) and the current Chancellor of Germany has at least as sordid of a past, so don’t count him out yet.
