President Obama called on the Boy Scouts to open their ranks to homosexuals.
His response came during an interview ahead of Super Bowl XLVII. CBS News’ Scott Pelley asked the president if scouting should be open to gays.
“Yes,” the president replied. “Gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everyone else does.”
BSA national leaders are meeting this week in Dallas to discuss lifting a ‘no-gay’ ban on both members and leaders.
On Monday a group of 42 religious groups will publish a half-page ad in USA Today calling on the Scouts to resist political and economic pressures to lift the ban.
The group is taking out a major advertising buy tomorrow denouncing the Scouts’ decision to consider changing their longstanding policy prohibiting openly gay Scout leaders or Scouts.

What would Obama know about being trustworthy?
A homosexual man or adolescent in a position of leadership in this organization is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and cannot be trusted, and thereby cannot fulfill the Law, and therefore has no legitimate reason to be there.

This issue is very near to the heart of my family, I have 2 Scouts, a Life and Tenderfoot, both my wife and I are very involved as adult leaders. If this happens not only will we walk away from what we feel is our ministry, but I will be walking away from a job as well because I am a Ranger at a Scout Camp. My request is that you express you opinions on the scouting.org link above and that you pray the God will touch the hearts and minds of those making this decision.

A boy becomes a Boy Scout after age 11 1/2. If he is gay, how does he know, because it is unlawful for him to be having sexual relations with ANYONE of ANY AGE! The first thing an admitted gay teenaged boy needs to do is to TELL someone if he is having sex with other teenaged boys or adult males. And for health reasons, he needs to be HIV tested!
With all the liberal condemnation about religious leaders having sex with young boys, one would think that these same liberals would be adamant about NOT having gay males supervising young boys outside the presence of other adults.
You can't have it both ways libs. You can't condemn priests and then encourage gay males to be Scout leaders.
