CBS to interview Obama during Super Bowl pregame show

President Obama will give a live interview to CBS before it airs the Super Bowl on Sunday. At 4:30 pm, Obama will field questions from CBS´s Scott Pelley, continuing a long-standing tradition of providing interviews to the network airing the NFL championship, usually the most-watched television event of the year. Last year, Obama spoke with Matt Lauer before NBC broadcast the big game. Pelley told The New Orleans Times-Picayune that he will talk pigskin with the president, but also has a range of "serious questions" to tackle.

Didn't watch it....but watched other parts of the pregame coverage with my wife. We were both struck by over the top “human interest” theme and how many grown men we had to endure crying because they once took drugs...or made the Hall of Fame....or were influenced by a coach who was treated unfairly......all of this under the back drop of today's under reported news that a true American Hero, Warrior and Defender of Freedom who selflessly served his country lost his life today.

Man..Man...Oh Man......today is a stark illustration of how far our country has strayed from everything that made us what we once were.

I was looking for a reason to go to church tonight, rather than watch the Superbore. This just cements it! I wish to hear the TRUTH preached, NOT lies, so Ill'll skip the football. Thank you for the information.

Sorry folks, don't mean to offend your game, but I prefer 3 downs to 4; 110 yard field to 100; 20 yard deep end zones to 10; 12 on the field instead of 11; and 65 yards wide instead of 53.3. Besides, what could be more fun than watching a Grey Cup at an outdoor stadium at the end of November in -15°F weather with a 20 mile an hour North wind blowing into your face! Call it livin' the Life! All that versus a football game played in a climate-cotrolled dome?! Meh!

Enjoy the game, folks.

Can you believe there was a time when nobody gave a sh!t what the president thought about sports? Of course you can. It was only about 4 years ago!

Wow. So glad I don't watch any of this crap.

Thinking people would find this offensive.
