In September 2010, the Albuquerque Journal reported that as Sheriff of Bernalillo County, Darren White was found to have evaded state law in a class action case that could cost the county millions. District Judge Nan Nash found that the County and Sheriff White practiced stopping motorists on state highways and seizing funds they may have had, usually under $10,000, but the persons were never charged with a crime nor was their money returned but found its way to the Sheriff's department. The City of Albuquerque already settled the class action suit for over $800,000. The Mayor of Albuquerque, Richard Berry appointed Darren White to oversee the Police Department as the Chief Public Safety Officer, the highest law enforcement position in the City.[6] He has since stepped down from this position due to controversy surrounding police shootings and questionable police procedure involving a family member.

“Missing documents” and no immediate charges. They went fishing in his pond for someone else, someone getting weapons that would be untraceable. Owning a gun shop and keeping that many firearms in your home is putting a target on your back, not only from the Feds but also the thugs who like to keep the criminal element armed and protected. (Look at the list in NY of gun owners and the break ins that happened as a result of publishing their names and address/locations of the guns.) It wouldn’t be too difficult finding the names and addresses of your local gun shop owners.

Just a thought, no judgment on this guy and what the Fed’s real motivation was in raiding his home.

Hell, all the stuff on his website says that he was a collector of old guns, largely turn of the century militaria. I’ll bet he never is convicted of anything, a large portion of those are exempt from ATF records, they are possibly too damn stupid to realize that. It will be like those militia guys that had big headlines for weeks, then a two sentence statement that they were convicted of ......nothing.

You are absolutely correct about how many firearms are needed to hunt a deer, HOWEVER, Bob Adams is a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer, Importer and Advanced Fireams Collector. I have known him for some 50 years since we served in the US Air Force together. Thousands of gun collectors (antique and modern) rely on Bob to identify and value rare and/or common guns they may come across. He is regarded in the fireams community as a highly qualified and honest expert in his profession. Gun collectors are some of the finest people I have had the pleasure of knowing, including movie stars and other high profile names in the entertainment business.

I would suggest next time you research the facts before you post stupid comments about how many guns it takes to hunt a deer.
