A report emanating from a UN human rights inquiry has called on Israel to remove all Jewish settlers from the West Bank and to immediately cease expansion. According to the report, the settlements violate international law and are merely an attempt to drive out Palestinians through intimidation.
The report comes from an inquiry led by French judge Christine Chanet and was based on interviews with 50 Palestinians, describing land grabs, violence, and damages to livelihood, and reads, "Israel must, in compliance with article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, cease all settlement activities without preconditions.
The report further states that Israel must immediately begin the withdrawal of all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories (OPT).
Digital Journal reported on Wednesday that Israel was boycotting the UN human rights scrutiny forum in Geneva. On top of this, Israel has not co-operated with a probe which was set up by the Human Rights Council last March to examine the impact of settlements in the territory, including East Jerusalem.

Why don’t the Palestinians just leave? Go to Egypt. /sarc
So, the UN is now calling for ethnic cleansing?
” based on interviews with 50 Palestinians”
Whom I am sure all gave truthful and unbiased testimonies.
Right, they want the JEWS removed from JUDEA!!
The Judean Peoples' Front will never stand for it.
Its always okay for Jews (or even non-Muslims) to be ethnically cleansed from supposed Islamic areas. But if Muslims are even criticized in any way, its a great crime.
And it isn’t fun.
Splitters! The Peoples Front of Judea will take the lead.
Israel’s answer to the UN should be : Bite me.
Whatever happened to the Popular Front, Reg?
Pardon my French.
I keep waiting for the call for all Texans to be remove from Texas, same in California.
Vatican and Israel Edge Closer to An Agreement
La Stampa-Vatican Insider ^ | Andrea Tornielli - 01/30/2013
"The Bilateral Permanent Working Commission between the Holy See and the State of Israel held a plenary session in Jerusalem yesterday to continue negotiations pursuant to the Fundamental Agreement Art 10 paragraph 2, the statement reads. The Commission discussed the life, activities and tax regime of the Catholic Church. The text being studied does not touch on thorny issues such as territorial questions: the Vaticans stance with regard to East Jerusalem and the occupied territories remains unchanged and the problems regarding ecclesiastical properties in that part of the Holy City and in the West Bank were deliberately set aside. Yesterdays meeting was presided over by the delegations heads: the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Ayalon for Israel and the Under-Secretary of the Secretariat of State Mgr. Ettore Balestrero for the Vatican.
The statement confirms, as all previous statements did, that negotiations took place in an an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere. The Commission took notice that significant progress was made and looks forward to a speedy conclusion of the Agreement. Israel and the Vatican have agreed on future steps and to hold the next plenary meeting in June 2013 at Vatican City. The hope is that the agreement defining the Catholic Churchs status in Israel will be signed by this date and should resolve the contentious issue of twenty holy sites Israel is home to. The agreement would exempt religious institutions from taxes, just as synagogues and mosques are but not properties that produce revenue.
There will soon come a day when the Israelis will entirely settle the whole land from the Euphrates to Egypt, and there will be absolutely no danger from any direction for 1000 years.
Silly, there are no Texans in California!
No, I mean calis from California so la raza can have it back...
Actually, the spirit of antichrist is leading them into Hell.
Dude! That was meant to be a joke...
Israel won it fair and sqaure after they were attacked from the West Bank. If the mooselimbs didn’t want to lose the West Bank they shouldn’t have used it to attack ISrael.
After lunch I become a bit obtuse. :)

My, what a comprehensive study. Quite obviously, Chanet has done her homework and investigated all allegations thoroughly and objectively./sarc
